I am working on fixing the colors that got a little wonky after the IPS 4.5 forum upgrade.  It burns!

(Ten minutes later.)  The colors should be pretty much be taken care of.

I really like the new look. One issue, the icons for "create new content", "messages", and "notifications" are difficult to pick out from the background.

Has anyone seen the layout on the PC? It’s entirely white and none of the action buttons are useable.

Never mind. Looks like the newest version of CC isn't supported on IE11.

I swear by it still. I have never had any issues with the program. But I have since switched to edge on my home PC but here at work IE still has compatibility for things that use flash player that edge I still think doesn't have.  Better than the RAM sucking vampire known as Chrome.

I didn't realize anyone was still using flash on websites any more.  Must be a legacy company website that no one is willing to spend the money to upgrade.

And last I read, Edge was going to be based on the Chrome engine at some point so MS has finally abandoned the lost browser wars at last.  No more Microsoft specific extensions screwing things up. :applause:

Oh yeah, there's still a few things that won't work. There's a couple programs here at work that won't launch with Edge or anything else. It needs IE to launch. There's a few dealer/Chrysler based stuff that won't work well without flash.

One thing I greatly miss with IE is typing on there with CC my words would get corrected. On Edge it just lets you know you're a moron and didn't capitalize your "I's and didn't apostrophe "S" your There's.

So question is how do you get to your profile now? With the update it's gone.

I see it on my laptop.  but the mobile version on my phone is kinda screwy.

:(  <-- this should be a frowny face.  :L:  but the thumbs up guy works (which is : L : without the spaces).  :dunno:

I lost a couple of my shortcuts for some reason

Agreed.  Not seeing anything related to profile or messages anywhere.

Oh man..  the new mobile site is going to take some getting used to.

Is the logo meant to be off-center to the left?

Also is anyone having an issue with the return button creating a new line then immediately causing the text pallet to close?

The "mark forum as read" button is no longer showing on mobile.  Will this come back?  It's quite convenient to keep track of classifieds posts.

Sorry about the surprise change.  I thought the 4.4 to 4.5 upgrade was a routine upgrade that it was asking to have done.

BBCode and Emoticon stuff: Invision Power is working to deprecate them in favor of newer technologies.(Rich Text and Emoji)  This release begins the migration portion of that.

what does that mean for our little corner of the interwebs?  how do we catch up to the rest of the cool cats?

Do we need to though? I mean all the other forums still look like antiques formats but I find this one easy to use. Hell of a lot easier than any of the social media out there actually.

Go live and watch the site die

I may have said that wrong.  I didn't say we were going to change anything, but if the forum software writers have some sort of "direction" in mind, I'd love to know what that is and what that means for us so we know what to do to maintain the look and feel of the CC.  I do not like change for the sake of change.  to me changes need to have a real purpose.

One thing I do find cool about this update is if you go into other threads say projects, youll see that a date gap appears like a story. Like there will be a box saying __weeks or _year later. Pretty neat and nice to space the old stuff.
