The cab floor, back wall and roof were lined with a reflective radiant heat barrier insulation before interior was re-assembled. Brakes- Standard front disc brakes and rear drums with functioning factory e-brake Lighting- Sylvania H6054 ST Silverstar Sealed Beam Headlights, Amber park/turn signal lamp set and Bosch Pilot Halogen Fog Lamps with Amber lenses. All other lighting is factory. Exterior- Black paint with gold pinstripe graphics kit, full archer brothers ground effects, rear 1 piece window glass with louvres, custom tinted lexan headlight covers, newer style windshield and rubber gasket trim, passenger/driver window visors and a 21 slot grille insert. Wheel & Tires- 2 piece Aluminum Centerline 15” wheels fitted with jeep center caps and wrapped with 235/60/R15 Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires. Misc- One of the previous owners had installed an aftermarket muffler, there are no visible brands but it the truck has a much deeper tone over factory. Also the the only thing missing on this truck was the horizontal street Comanche grille insert so I decided to go with something equally as unique with the 21 slot. I think I prefer the aggressive look it gives the truck. Future upgrades/updates will be a tonneau cover, window tint and upgrade the brakes. Best MJ story- I had found an ad on Craigslist for a Wagoneer grille insert and headlight bezels, I called and it was still available and scheduled a time in the evening the following day to pick up. When I arrived the gentleman was out front doing yard work as he was expecting me. After greetings he said “hang on I’ll open the garage so you can get the parts” so he runs inside and then the garage starts raising up, and I’m watching it slowly go up and unveil a set of turbines so my brain is like “oh ok cool”, the door keeps going and reveals the lower trim graphics of a chief! So now I’m even more excited, and then the door gets all the way up and it’s an almost immaculate white Comanche Chief. I about fell over not expecting that, I do not see any Comanches on the road by me so it was quite a surprise. After a long session of drooling and talking about Comanches he asked if I had seen a Comanche coin, I had no idea what exactly he was talking about, so he said hang on I’ll show you. He came out with a few of these Comanche coins that were given out to employees back when the vehicle launched and said here you can have one. I was floored by that, I was fortunate enough to later return the favor by mailing him one of the Comanche Rock Auto magnets which he surprisingly did not have. CC is Awesome! Why? I have found this community to be so hands on, and DIY that nearly anything you can think of that you would want to repair or customize to your truck you can find on here. It’s been done and documented for you to reference. I have worked on many other vehicles and I have not found a following like this. The knowledge and information on here to reference along with user feedback makes working on these trucks really fun and easy. Congrats @CactusComanche!!! As always, if you want your MJ featured as MJOTM, send me a PM.

I think it would be fun to get a few trucks together once this weather breaks, as much as I want to right now, it’s just brutal standing outside in the sun. 6 hours ago, fiatslug87 said: Very well deserved MJOTM, congratulations. I’ve only seen the stickers, I didn’t even know there were magnets. Awhile ago I needed a part and a kind fellow in the Midwest ended up sending it to me no charge and requested that I donated to CC, so i did, I think I actually contacted you to donate.
