Been a while but I've been working on it here and there when I have time.

Cab was sanded and reprimed because it sat too long.

I got all my block sanding done. Spot primed again yesterday.

Windshield is out and channel is cleaned and primed.

The only thing I have left is wet sanding, clean, paint. And I have to build a tent.

I wet sanded a small panel yesterday just to see how it was going to come out, slick.

A little advice, if you paint it yourself make sure you have a plan to control the bugs. They are attracted to paint. I redid my gas door 4 times and a fender and a door 3 times each. JUST when I thought I was safe a damn knat would buzz down and land in my fresh clear.

Yes, I'll be building a tent.

Thank you guys for the comments.

95% of the cab is acceptable but the 5% I can't live with. I have a couple of areas with too much texture and I also have one run to deal with.

I've decided to let it sit for a week then start wet sanding, I'll respray the clear in a couple of weeks. If I don't now it will never happen.

Also, the engine compartment is a shade off from the body, when I gut the bay again I think I'll do something radical there.

Apparently there is a term for what I did here, didn't know it was a thing, Flow-Coat.

I got it this time, no sags, no runs, no dust, no bugs, no excessive orange peeling. Helps to use the correct tip too, not the suggested one.

That looks really nice

Thank you.

Now that I have the truck outside I like it even more, I'll still end up cut-and-buffing it out but it's good, real good.
