Lee21490
I love the comanche poking its head around the edge of the picture.
RochesterMJ
Don't get me wrong... I'm still not going to add up my receipts
Minuit
I add up my reciepts (and for whatever reason post that number publicly so others can share in my pain) but yeah, I could rebuild my MJ over again about 25 times for that price. A-man930
I believe the next gen wrangler is going to be offered with a bed kinda like that

64 Cheyenne
Regardless of how much they cost, when I look outside, I still "SEE" my Jeeps. When my extra cash was spent on wine, women, and song....heck, sometimes I didn't even have a window to look out of.... krustyballer16
You could buy the ugly wrangler and a real truck for cheaper than that... And then build both pretty heavily
Dadinator
I never worry about the cost. If I keep this truck until I die, it will still be cheaper than a new one. Vehicles have gotten simply ridiculous. If i ever get rid of the mj, cost won't be the factor. It will simply be "tired of f'n with it".
Crash
That things looks "turrable". I kinda liked the earlier concept/export J8, but meh. I do not feel bad about what money has gone into my MJ, but how much money CANNOT go into my MJ.
87Warrior
I'm not going to lie, $115 for mud flaps seems excessive. AEV can build a sweet Jeep. The problem isn't really the cost, but the availability of parts in 10 years. AEV was really quick to dump the TJ high line, heat reduction hood and Brute parts when the JK was released. I wonder what AEV's big money maker will be if FCA actually builds a Jeep pickup?

X2 on this, I am simply not interested in anything new coming out of a factory at the moment. Sure a new truck would be more comfortable etc etc etc but my MJ just " fits" I'm sure a lot of you guys know what I mean.
schardein
For that price I could buy... 68 of my Comanches? Doesn't seem like a fair comparison. For that price... I could almost pay off my house. I enjoy being able to look for parts in the junkyards. Haven't seen a JK in a junkyard lately.
HOrnbrod
I'm sure AEV is really concerned about all the badmouth. They might even lower their prices if they read this thread.
RochesterMJ
FWIW - this vehicle is still sitting on the dealer lot. I'm relieved, been watching too many Barrett-Jackson and Mecum car auctions on tv, was starting to think that everyone was spending $80-150k on cars that they'd never drive. DansGreyMj
That's way too much money for it to still have Chrysler spec'd axles under it.
Doc.
I look at that final price and think, I could pay off my house AND build a nice Jeep with that kind of moneys.
