I really love the look, but I have to admit that when I first saw the photos that your truck was a scale model lol.

Yeah, I admit, that's funny. :P

While the important thing is that this MJ is getting used and enjoyed......

I'm another fan of its previous look. Not digging the wheels at all. Stripes just make the truck. Now it looks like that Harvest Gold fridge in my grandma's house...... sorry.

Ya know...... satin black pioneer or sport truck stripes would look killer with its current theme.....

Looks sharp, as always, but I am not a fan of the new wheels.

I've got to agree. It would ice the cake!

Man can I relate to this feedback. Lol....anyway the truck looks great and its another mj that lives on in a new life of glory, the classic look is nice but the current truck is very nice as well. Good job and enjoy the ownership of something so awesome that will never be reproduced again.

When you posted pics of those wheels I didn't like them at all. Now that I see them on the truck nothing has changed. But the opinion of others means nothing; the only thing that matters is what YOU like. I happen to like lots of chrome, and could care less what everyone else thinks. You did the right thing going your own way and I respect that.

I appreciate that. :)

The reason I struggled with a  wheel decision is that I limited myself to a specific tire size. Once that got narrowed down, the next category was a selection of wheel that no ones has....IOWs to be set apart, to be different.

When I'm done, my truck will be uniquely mine.

Looking good man. How's that 2.5 working for ya?

New engine isn't in yet.....squeezing every mile out of this one.
Good deal man. Due to a mini stroke a week ago, I got a couple friends coming next weekend to help pull mine out to rebuild.

Who ground your camshaft? Mines s Clay Smith RV grind.

Mine is a Melling.

Sorry about the stroke, are you going to recover?

Yes, already mobile...somewhat. Lol.

Was pondering the idea of using a Weber carb or Holley 2bbl manifold instead of TBI. But guess I'll have to see how this setup works first.

Me, too!! Maybe RC?

It really does look like a toy in the "after" pics. We don't usually see full sized vehicles at that angle. Weird.

Mine rubbed with 245/75r16s at full lock and on the fenders under flex. Rubbed like crazy with the 265/75r16s. I had to run 1.5" spacers and trim my fenders and bumper caps.

The most important thing is that you like it.  Drive with pride.  It looks great either way!

Any rubbing anywhere under all conditions?

The very end of the flare as it turns around to the front valance.

I have the axle out at this very moment, adding the ACOS system.

I'll fix it!
