  4. Don he is basically wanting to convert his 89 to h.o I will not be needing the engine harness and will be using aftermarket gauges in the ls swap. I am not as diverse in the renix jeeps so I just wanted to make sure he has what he needs, I'm sure he can pull minor generic stuff at JY from xj just wanted to make sure their is nothing specific I'm missing Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  5. Hi guys I have sold the 4.0 in the 91 with harness, to a fellow member to swap his 89 to h.o. wanting to make sure I get everything the young man needs any tips or advice would be appreciated, I'm assuming the main harness, and gauge harness with pcm is all that's needed? 6. Those aren't the correct flares at all, those flares came from a Datsun, nissan,or yota Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  7. I agree I beleive it will be fine behind the tdi, I was just referring to the comment that they hold up behind a sbc, not the case in my personal experiences. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  8. As you can see, South of the border shaving the cab vents is popular along with the 2500 front-end and ls swaps! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

  12. I also will add you don't have to worry about your comanche being air tight lol if you decide you like the looks and shave them Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  13. With 2500 front clip This thing is sick with an ls1 and shaved vents looks good but I just prefer the vents Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  14. my tires are a bit small to make 4:10s as useful as they can be...So i run a little higher than I want to when I get 33-35s. I also don't have the speedo accurately calibrated yet, just one of those things I put off, but I will get an app and give you an estimate soon enough.I'm running 32's which I will keep when running the numbers on the chart it says 2500rpm at 70 in OD with 4.56's seems lower than I thought it might be? 15. Love this build Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  16. Sorry should have said 70 MPh in OD with your 700r4 should be comparable to the 4l60 just curious Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  17. I'm in process of ls1 build I'm going with 4.56 gears with 4l60 let me know your rpms are in overdrive with the 4.10's just curious, the calculator says I will be at 2500rpms on OD I'm thinking that I'll be good? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  18. The sooner the better trust me! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  19. This must happen quite often? My brother brought back actual video of this same ish happening in Iraq a few years ago Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  20. If that makes you guys cringe you would probably vomit, if you saw my dad letting all his boys (3) drive his 69 T/A to school periodically, and yes there were 2 fender benders over the years in it, before he sold it recently. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  21. Love this thing! Someone buy it! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  22. I agree Jim, I have a son that when he turns 16 my 91 will be his first truck. I know people will cringe, but nothing will make me happier to see him love this truck as much as I have, and as far as the purchase goes on the 88, gai092460 as long as your happy that's all that matters, but one thing I'm sure of the MJ's that I been finding and selling off especially h.o models my prices just went up! 23. Well ill add my experience, i installed Hb's setup on my 91 2 dual 10 blade oem fans it worked great, until I hooked my lawn mower and trailer behind it within 10 miles overheating couldn't keep the heat down while towing anything during hot louisiana heat of summer, had to go back to the mechanical stock setup, hasn't got over 215 since, now saying that I very much preferred the dual electric setup especially for the noise factor, when the dam mech. Fan Locks up it sounds like a crop duster, but it does the job better than anything I've found. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  24. Yea and I wouldn't trust an ax15 behind a stock gen3+ sbc, maybe a gen1 or 2 bone stock and even then I would be nervous. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
