james750 Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 :rotfl2: It had to do with somehow leaving it in Drive at the top of a steep hill with the engine running and no handbrake on. She claims that she realized that she forgot something inside and got out to go get it and just forgot that the car was in drive. :shake:
500 MJ Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 121,000 on the Blue 100,600 on the White :ack: Both Renix 4.0L setups. I should be golden for years! ;)
ECnVA Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Image Not Found someone put these miles on? currently not running...my next project.
project88mj Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 238,000 on my renix and she'll still beat hondas ricers (not to be confused with true imports) in a drag race
mvusse Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 140K on both my rigs. They are currently within 100 miles of each other. But the MJ has done 24,000 miles over the past 14 months I've owned it, the XJ has gone about 3,000 in the same time. The previous 2 owners didn't drive it very much.
brdhntr Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 mine only has 96000. not bad for an 87. i have enough other vehicles that most don't get much, except the suburban. the cj has 74000, the audi now has 156000, and the suburban has 220000. i hunt alot so my hunting rig usually gets alot of miles (the suburban). the mj will get used alot for hunting now since it get's better gas mileage. i'll use it for the trips i don't need much. i will build a kennel set up for it in the next week or two. then i'll use it alot more.
johnr Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 i found mine on the used car lot with 78000 on it in 2010. it now has just over 80000 but i swaped gage clusters . the truck i got the cluster from in the junk yard had 85610
summerinmaine Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 I'm a bit over 311,000 now, and still very few problems. Love the 4.0L six!
codymanche Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 218,6xx when I killed the head and tore the block down!
mvusse Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 140K on both my rigs. They are currently within 100 miles of each other. But the MJ has done 24,000 miles over the past 14 months I've owned it, the XJ has gone about 3,000 in the same time. The previous 2 owners didn't drive it very much. The XJ has since disappeared, replaced by another 87 Comanche that had 79,000 when I got it last February. I believe it has 87,000 now. Also a 96 Cherokee with 187,000 and since the day before yesterday another 96 Cherokee with 144,000, but that one's for parts only. No floor, hole rusted through the roof, missing a 3' length of frame rail, and the rear bumper, and load floor move when I pull the hitch up and down. My tow rig is a 1991 GMC camper conversion with 204,000 km.
mrsinister Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 I was pretty happy with mine at 54K at the start of last year. Then I had to drive a lot, just clicked over 70K last week.

TylerJY Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I'm sure I don't have the most.. but 212k and change on the 4.0 HO I swapped in.
terrawombat Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Truck had somewhere around 223K when the idiot cluster was pulled out. New cluster had around 155K when it was put in and is now at 168K. So, if my math is correct, we should be at 236K. One of these days, I'm going to pull the new cluster and make it show the true mileage.
summerinmaine Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Anyone have experience withe the accuracy of the speedo/odo in standard configuration? In mine, with the 31/10.5s on 8"rims, the odo is pretty much spot on, but the speedo reads @ 8-10% low. My SWAG is that with stock tires/rims, the speedo would have been close and the odo reading high.
MancheKid86 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 sterling stinger has more than you  88 Comanche Laredo 4.0L 367K work truck color: merlot?
