Decided that I needed to check the rest of my floor and fix it so that I have more than just carpet between my feet and the pavement. Pulled the seat, trim and carpet. Actually very pleased with what I found:

Pass front

Pass rear

Drivers rear

Drivers front

cleaned it up a bit and cut down the overpriced cherokee panel I bought. just a temp install for the winter.

and all back together. about three hours total.

You are just too darn quick Mr. Pete. I fixed them as soon as I posted it and realized I screwed up. Then I thought that no one else could see them for some reason  . Thanks

Well came home from college ( UNOH ) for the weekend, and actually had a productive weekend.

Replaced the rear main seal,

along with the oil pan gasket (for obvious reasons ha),

and valve cover gasket, also painted the valve cover flat black.

I know you guys like pics, but not much to look at really.

Read 64 Cheyennes writeup on the rear window replacement (great writeup, thanks!), became motivated; an MJ at my local pick-n-pull has rear slider, which I want very bad (I have non slider rear right now)...went to Harbor Freight and got $20 windshield removal kit...went to P-n-P, I removed rear slider based on wirteup, window cost $40. Then I removed rear glass from my MJ. Thats were I stand, nearly 3 hours and $60 into project :ack: -at least the hard parts done-. I think next time I will leave it to the pros at the glass shop though, for the $90 used slider installed price; but at least I know how to do it now if I ever HAVE to. Tomorrow, I'll clean up slider, paint frame, apply 3m "windshield weld" and place it jamminz.gif

Nada... almost drove it to work, but was too lazy to scrape the frost off the windows (YES, we get frost in Cali)... so I drove the TJ instead (which had been in my nice cozy garage...) you see of the MJ rates?

The boss was driving his MJ and it started acting up on him like starving for fuel, he limped it to his house, and had it towed back to the dealer, I checked a few things and noticed it getting air pressure at the fuel rail, but no gas, then noticed the gas guage... on empty. Put gas in it and it fired right up.... I know this isnt my MJ, but seeing as how I'm now doing all the work on it, whats the difference?

I hope your job is not in jeopardy for not keeping your boss's MJ filled up with gas

Drove it to work, and contemplated what work I will do to it when I hopefully park it most of the time once the snow and ice arrives and MODOT starts dumping chemical on the roads. Lets see: fix an oil leak and the front brakes with new rotors, etc.; order touchup paint and fix all the road chips, other dings, and scratched up tailgate from a summer of driving and hauling; give it a good wax job, and maybe, just maybe, pull the bench seat out and rebuild it. Don't want to go to buckets yet 'cuz both grandkids still like to travel with me at times. Then, in the spring, drive my spiffy lookin' MJ again!

I went through this innocent looking puddle by my house(i felt daring) and I though I was getting stuck. It was partially on the road and i moved right just a little and it was a long canal lol This is my first encounter with off road
