Tire size to small?
shelbyluvv replied to Knucklehead97's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
They will fit on the Canyons. -
You can but you will have to be very careful not to kink the lines. It is a very tight fit between the two.

Check this out Eagle.

http://fsjnetwork.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1292 When there is more fluid pressure to the front then the rear it will shuttle the valve to the open position and bypass the rear circuit. There are two different GM prop valves like the XJ one. One you have to pull the plunger out to bleed the rear circuit. There is a special tool that holds it open. The other style pushes the plunger out to bypass the rear circuit. You have to hold the plunger in to bleed the rear circuit. There is a different tool needed for that style. I learned this fighting with a J10 that had no rear brake pressure.

Was running fine...
shelbyluvv replied to Crassis-Comanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Remove the starter and bench test it. Or just jump the solenoid and see if it will crank. Do this with the key in the run position. Just stay clear of any moving parts. -
Is it still running? Project? A little more info about the truck would be help us.

Did you relocate the rear spring perches or just slap the XJ axle in?

jeep mj with 33s and stock gearing yes or no?
shelbyluvv replied to eyepod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I had 33s on stock 3:55s and hated them. Overdrive was useless (AW4) and fuel mileage sucked. I have 265s now and it is much better. I still want to re-gear to 4:10 but will probably go 4:56 to run 33s in the future. -
This is what I have wrote down so far for my personal part to her. There are a lot of things in there that will only mean something to her and I. I promise, To ride beside you through the smooth or rocky days, to rejoice with you when things go our way, to comfort you when they go awry, when it is dark, I’ll dance with you in the glow of headlights and kiss you under the moonlight, when you are feeling stuck ,I’ll help you power through, when you are scared, I will reach out for your hand, when you are lost and can't find your way, I'll be your map and guide you, to turn to you for wisdom, guidance & installation instructions. to be ever faithful, to shower you with love and affection, And I promise you, If I had to make the choice, I’d do it again today, tomorrow and Oliver, for the rest of my days

We have a what you can call a ring exchange/vows that we wrote and are exactly the same other than his/her and husband/wife. We are going to have a small part after we exchange rings where we make promises to each other.

Very nice Ben! Beautiful wedding pictures as well. We are getting married in my friends back yard. Neither of us have family close by and the great people here in south Georgia have taken us in as family. All the guys in this picture are my local family. The really tall guy behind me got ordained so he can marry us. A great bunch of people to surround myself with.

As many know I proposed to my girl a few weeks ago. We decided to write our own vows. This is where my Comanche Club family come in to save the day. I am have having a bad case of writer's block and can't seem to come up with something Jeep, dirt, mud, rock, wrenching, and all around gear head related. I ask you all to assist me with writing my wedding vows. It will be a community project and I will post the final vows here before I say them to Steph in late August.

Welded diff...pros & cons
shelbyluvv replied to ParadiseMJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
How so? The c clips hold the shafts in on a D35 and the flange hold the axles in a D44. You can still service the diff seals, bearings and gears. You just can't pull the spider gears because they are welded to the carrier. -
All for sale posts should have the location in the thread title. I normally check them and if it is missing I'll add it with some weird spelling. If the location is missing in the post and title I just remove the entire post.

I got my 30/35 4:56 geared axles put of a 84 2.5 auto XJ. Not all auto 4 bangers had 4:56s though

One wheel rubbing on new fenders
shelbyluvv replied to buckwheat's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Rear flares work well on the front with 97+ fenders. They will open up the fenders a bit. -
I'll have to pass on the interior. I honestly am out of room to store anymore MJ junk. Hopefully someone can salvage the parts and put them to good use. Thanks for the offer though.
