  1. For me I'd take the 4.0/AW4 route. I'd also swap the 4:10 axles out of the 86 and lift it and throw some 32s on it.
  2. I used a small pair of vicegrips on the head in conjunction with the torx to get my door off. Took a lot of time but I finally got them.
  3. That turned out pretty damn cool!
  4. It'll go for $150 plus shipping on EBAY.
  5. It's never too late Jim. Sell off the collection and take yourself and the misses on a vacation.
  6. How about no Don? That would be horrible on that pretty truck.
  7. More than likely. You'll have to pull it to see if it cracked or a gasket let go. Unless you can see the crack through the oil fill.
  8. You screwed up now Incommando. Murphy is going to go off his meds and lose it. Get ready for it, lol!
  9. They will also rub the rear of the front wheel wells. There is a tab that sticks out front the inner fender that will catch the tire when you turn. If it was mine I would leave the 31s on it. 33s bring so many more issues than you really want. The fuel mileage and power loss are the two biggies for me.
  10. Thanks fellas. I have learned people are dumbasses in cars when a bike is around. I try to stay as far away from them that I safely can. I am going next weekend for the riders course. I cut my teeth on a street bike about 25 years ago. Since then it has been dirt bikes and ATVs. Swinging around a 900 lb bike is a little different.
  11. I'm thinking a cracked 0331 head as well.
  12. The 10.50s will be fine on the 7" wheels. You already have spacers in the rear and they should easily clear the frame rails. You may have some rubbing issues up front on the edge of the flares when hitting a bump and turning.
  13. 265s will rub like crazy without spacers. I still had to trim my flares and bumper caps to run them. I have a 4.5" lift, 1.5 spacers, moabs and 265s on my truck.
  14. No reserve Jim, she's fuel injected. I checked the tank too. She was bone dry. I put 3 gallons in it and it fired right up.
  15. Y'all need to stop posting pictures of these Jeeps. I'm starting to like them. Both are beautiful and the hood is sexy!
  16. I'm loving the scoot. I did learn today the fuel gauge lies. Yep, I did the walk of shame with a gas can. I'll look into it tomorrow and see why it stuck at 1/4 tank.
  17. I've wanted a motorcycle for a few years now. I wasn't in the market until this one fell into my lap. I got a 2001 Road King for a really good deal. I am quite pleased with the bike. It runs and handles amazing. I am looking forward to getting it out on the road and relaxing.
  18. 89 with a full 97 conversion
  19. I think painting the raised areas black would make them look better.
  20. There is a member here that does it. I want to say it was Terrawombat.
  21. I have 32s with a auto and 3:55s and it is a dog. Can I run 80? Yes. Will I do it for extended periods of time, nope. I will eventually drop 4.10s in my diffs.
  22. The tag will also tell you when it was made.
