  1. Mine has always idled at the 700 - 800 area...
  2. WOW...good for her and I'm very happy that we can be a part of your "support program". Here's a big smiling thumbs up back to her...
  3. I was just wondering that too. Looks like those shocks need to be angled in just a little bit to allow better tire clearance.
  4. FAIL! :rotfl2:  He forgot the " / " in the end tag ;)
  5. :agree: You didn't mention putting fresh gas in it so we are left to ASSume that you are trying to run it on that old gas that is not really gas any more ;) . I would try fresh gas and maybe some new plugs too depending on how old yours are.
  6. Very cool  How many pins do you have total so far?
  7. Not a real cool way to treat an officer of the law...why...?? :shake: . You should have taken just a minute to educate him and maybe you would have created another Jeep family member somewhere down the raod  . Law Enforcement Officers are just people doing a job that is tough enough on it's own without being treated with disrespect for no reason  .
  8. So you have seen 26" of snow in around 24 hours...?? You might be in for a little longer stay than planned
  9. A local jeep fest  That's kinda what I figured, but I know there are those among us that nearly see ' JEEP ' as a religion ;) . Just seemd kind of an odd name for a Jeep event...
  10. Interesting set-up, but that is pretty pricey at $550 for the steering kit, then another $90 for the sway bar disconnect kit.
  11. Just curious... What is "Jeep Blessing" ?? :hmm: Sounds religious, but... :dunno:
  12. Very nice!!! Good for you man! Good luck, let me know if you ever need any help with any thing.. I've got you covered on the technical stuff, Steph has your back on the medical. Awesome man...Thanks!!Right now I am waiting to see if I am accetped and should know by Tuesday or Wednesday hopefully.
  13. I just spent two hours on the phone with my counselor at University of Pheonix. I completed my application to the school, financial aid application, Pell Grant application etc, etc... I am looking to get my AA in Healthcare Administration. As much as I would like to stay in the automotive field, I just don't think that it's got much of a future right now. Healthcare is solid and will always be a need and with this degree it will make me marketable in a few different areas and always have options.
  14. Maybe you will get to see some of this while you are here. This was today about an hour ago in my carport...in the shade...
  15. This is correct except for the "LJ" part...there is no such thing as an LJ body code in the Jeep line. ;)
  16. LCA's definitely. You either need an adjusteble track bar or a relocation bracket. Most relocation brackets do not do a great job and fail after a little while so it's best to go with the bar.
  17. Did you get in?? I did live in NW PA for 17 years so I had to deal with that a couple times and those methods are some that I used ;)
  18. Things like that happen with these trucks... :rotf:
  19. About how much has shipping been running for a single T-shirt to the East Coast? Depending on exactly where you are, it has been between $5 - $6.
  20. Sounds like a decent plan except for the building of the 2.8... WHY would you waste your time and money on a total piece of junk like a 2.8L engine. If you are converting to 4WD, it would be much easier to put a 4.0L in it and if you want to stroke something, the 4.0L is the one to do as it will have 3 times the power and life span of the 2.8L
  21. Very nice!! What about some detail about how he actually did the paint job?...what equipment he used etc, etc...
  22. My '95 has 2 bolts. I don't think I have seen a 4 bolt on an AX15 :hmm: I would advise not using a urethane mount though. They are very hard and you will feel a lot of vibes from it from my experience.
  23. Discontinued LONG ago. The best thing to do is have an upholstery shop custom make them or take you time looking for used XJ seats in good shape to get the covers from.
  24. Motor mounts are a slight possibility, but as suggested earlier...check the tranny mount as it is a typical problem. The leaking fluids under the truck eat the rubber away and they allow the tranny/t-case to flop around.
  25. There is no way that 30's will look too small under a 2" lift unless you like the look of a low rider with the oversized tires that fill the wheel well. Here is mine with 3.5" lift and 31's. I think it's a little too close myself and would rather see a little more tire room, but I'm not lifting it any more.
