Thought about this several times. Years ago, I played in a band that had a connection with a local shop. Could've gotten tons of discount ink. I waited... and waited... and then the longer I waited the less that it seemed important. I still want to go out and get a bunch of stuff done but as soon as I do I know it'll just turn into a snowball effect. Meh...

Off topic, but... HOLY CRAP! Sam?! Been starting to wonder where you went off to lately!

:fs2: What is it with this truck and fuel leaks at the rail?! I got into work this morning and all seems fine. Of course there's a few students who notice my truck sitting there and they all want to see it. Fine. Go over, start it up, lift the hood, and there it is at the send line... drip... drip... drip... :wall: I shut the truck off and start mentally making a plan as to who the closest parts store is to go and get parts before I go home. Things get busy... I forget to go get o-rings... that leads me up to about ten minutes ago. It's just about quittin' time and it dawns on me that the trucks is still going to leak. So, I go out to the truck and take a quick recon of whatever else I think I might need. Flip open the center console to grab a pad of paper and what's waiting for me?... a pack of o-rings with a piece of tape on it that is clearly labeled "FUEL SENDING LINE". Clearly, I forgot about when I first noticed the leak over this past winter and I didn't leave myself a good enough trail of breadcrumbs. :thwak: -

Pull it out of storage, change the oil, barely put any miles on it over a week, and then a 200+ mile road trip? Why not?! . :MJ 1: . Brought a load of stuff up to where I'm selling a few things this summer. Everything went great!... minus driving into a gnarly wind all the way there and back. Got up there and then found out both rear axle seals leaking and that the water temp gauge likes to creep a little over time. Always something... :shake: Small list of things on the docket for sooner than later now include the axle seals, maybe an upgrade in the radiator even though this one isn't dead yet (seems as though I got the only good plastic tanked single core radiator ever created), and some new bumpers. Stay tuned. -
That was something I whipped up a number of years ago. I wanted to keep my spare out of the bed just to free up some more space so out onto the bumper it went. I liked it for a while, but lately have been wanting to change up my bumpers again. Here's a link to that portion of my build thread: http://comancheclub.com/topic/14063-88-eliminator-feb-2009-jan-2014/page-7

You and me both. Stay well, Jim.

I use everything! Price usually turns into the deal breaker. At a couple local thrift shops, I can get pieces for $.10/utensil. If shipping, I like to keep things at no more than $.15/utensil.

I need silverware... BAD! Been doing some other stuff lately with all the mismatched leftovers just to keep busy on something to sell: My local spots around town have all but dried up lately. Anybody have anything they'd like to send this way to support the cause? :waving:

So... I've been having this issue with my speedometer ever since everything got switched around on this truck. Sensors have been changed... wiring checked... last week I bought a complete cluster from another member. I would bet that I'm going to get that cluster at some point today. Do you know how I know that I'm probably going to get that cluster today? Because I was driving into work this morning and guess what decides it wants to start working again? Probably just a fluke. I'm sure it won't be working by the time I go back home today... at least I hope not.

Changed the oil last weekend and gave it some fresh gas today. Had some running around this afternoon to take care of so this little guy got some much needed attention. Big smiles all around! -
Thanks dude! Everything goes on display this coming weekend then available for sale starting Memorial Day weekend. Got some high hopes too! :crossfingers:

Agreed. If I have a 1" thick piece of metal with a crack in it, I'm not going to just lay 1" thick worth of weld on top. You have to grind down to the bottom of the crack and start from where the problem started. 110V welders are great but I'm with the crowd that wouldn't trust welding spring perches with one. If equipment is an issue, you can always tack everything together and bring the whole works to someone who can do it right.

Really too bad the 10-holes were never available in a 15x8". I think they look great on the Eliminators, but they just need a little more depth to them. Otherwise, my vote would also go towards turbines.
