  1. All through High School and College I had four leaf clovers in my milk. :D http://www.luckycharms.com/
  2. Wow! Incredible find! I love reading posts like these.
  3. So that's where those tail lights went from the NOS cache in New York. :D I think we'll see some NOS tailgates, NOS doors, and quite possibly NOS outer bed panels for sale on Ebay before long. :clapping:
  4. If it consistently won't go into a gear after shifting out of reverse, it might be the shifter shaft alignment? :hmm: Maybe some transmission experts can weigh in.
  5. I don't either. But I'm a transplanted Yank. :D One good thing though: spent most of the day in traffic running errands and the old girl kept cool even stuck in traffic staying right around 210*. The electric fans are working great. Sorry to hear it is so hot out there Don, My LIL Sis lives in Maryland and it is also very hot. Those temps are even worse than the PI Pare. Hope you have lots of cool bears at least.
  6. Can you tell us the miles on the transmission?
  7. Had a similar problem even after a transmission rebuild 6 years ago. Switched to Redline MT90 and it became much easier to shift.
  8. I used these guys to replace all major components of my AC. http://www.jeepair.com/ I wouldn't hesitate to use their parts again with the exception of sourcing the compressor from the factory. I beleive you can buy NOS Sanden compressors for around $200 on Ebay.
  9. What a beauty! Would love to see it in COTM.
  10. What a score, a lot more money could be made on Ebay. :D
  11. Congratulations! Looks like a great pooch. I love dogs, but then again reading my screen name you can see I am a little biased.
  12. Wow! Another great NOS score for Don.
  13. Great PICS Mike, The thing that I noticed from the rings of fire was the blinding reflections from my windshield and black truck.
  14. Does your sending unit look like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-NOS-86-Jeep ... 6a&vxp=mtr My 1991 looks nothing like the above which is apparently made for the 1986? It looks like the electrical connector for the 86 is different from the 87 and later.
  15. Yes, in addition to the rubber sleeve there was an off sized metal sleeve that we had the heck of a time finding a socket that matched the circumference to push the sleeve out. Pushing the bar pin out was easy. :ack:
  16. For folks that do not know it yet, the OME N40L has been disconintued by OME. I had a pair of these on the rear of my MJ since 2007 with a 3 inch lift. In 2008 I installed the HellCreek MT leafs with 3 inch of lift which netted about 4 inches of lift. nJust 3.5 years later I noticed the shock was leaking and began researching a replacement with ARB, Don (Hornbrod), and others. From their advice I ordered the OME XJ 3-5 inch lift OME N36L shocks. From my research N40L open 25.8 inches, closed 15.6 N36L open 24.5, closed 14.6 It took 6 weeks for the new shocks to get here, and just in the nick of time as the shock broke at the bottom eyelett which explains why it was leaking (it was cracked). Using my neighbors trusty Harbor Freight 12 ton press, we removed the top bar pin from the N36L, and replaced it with the N40L polyurethane insert. Getting the barpin out was toughest part of the job, it took us about an hour! Installed it and will be other one next weekend (we had to break for Mother's Day) Originally I was concerned that the N40L had more than an inch more of play, but it appears that they are almost equal. When I remove the other shock that is not broken I will measure them N40L with the N36L side by side and see if my research numbers are correct.
  17. Very nice, I once saw an NOS spare tire winch go for $200, I would not be shocked if this went for $400 or more.
  18. My Knowledge of Linux and MySQL are not great, professionally I use http://www.reliablepenguin.com/ Ben is one of the most knowledge Linux/ MySQL System Admins/Database Administrator that I know. I would be happy to contribute whatever direction you and Pete decide to go.
  19. Congratulations Pare! CWO club celebrations are dear to my heart! Please give your Bro-In-Law my congrats! :D
  20. Again a miracle considering a split second can mean a collision where the crew must choose between ejecting or dumping their fuel, they got both accomplished.

  22. It was a miracle, their fuel tanks must have been close to empty.
