  1. OK...........I'm out.......... Just so you know, the 2.5 TBI only needs 14-17psi, it's regulated to that, you can use regular hoses and clamps if you need to.
  2. That's a nice clean XJ for $400......great project Jeep............if I had the time.............
  3. OK, well clearly it's not moving any fuel. Has it occurred to anyone that you have a bad pump???? It maybe that the pump has gone to ground and therefore the relay stammers. Time for a pump.......and go through ALL your grounds and cables and fused links...........ect.........

  5. https://knoxville.craigslist.org/pts/d/oneida-96-jeep-cherokee-2-door/6870577725.html About all I could find.
  6. And you'll need a Renix flywheel.
  7. A '94 will come with a D30, AX15, front DS, TC, pedal assembly, shifters, slave and master, etc....... D44, you'll have to hunt down.
  8. If it were me........... I'd be looking at '94 XJ as a donor, you'll get the external slave that you'll most definitely want. Look to '97 up for a rear axle.
  9. Yes, internally they are the same, externally they are not. It is a Toyota trans but in the Jeep world it is known as the AW4.
  10. I have an NOS copper/brass that has been sitting in a box since 1991. I won't be using it since I'm going V8 and will need to get a custom rad built. I paid $200 plus shipping, will need the same if you are interested. Just an offer.......... The plastic/aluminum ones from the parts stores are cheap, IIRC, $120. I've gone through 5 of those, lifetime warranty. Current one is a good one.
  11. Yep. You and me must be the only ones who care to do the dirty work. No other way to get small bits or big bits this clean.
  12. I suspect he's got a problem with all his grounds.
  13. The last tooth is worn out. Pull the bottom of the door card, stick your fingers in and lift on the glass as you roll it up. Did that for a year, sucks. Go to a 97up door.
  14. Alright, well, don't use grease between the terminal and the sheet metal. Can you see fuel emitted from the ejector while cranking the engine?
  15. Based on the sound on your vid................ It sounds like it's the same no matter where the camera panned the VC....is this correct? If this is correct then you would have to conclude that all 6 pistons are slapping and I cannot believe that. Clacking sounds like rockers to me, not piston slap.
  16. '86 harness is different from the ' 91 harness. Pull the driver's tail light out, there should be a wire that is screwed to the sheet metal, clean that ground.
  17. You and this guy below- I suspect the same problem, worn cam and lifters.
  18. As stated, plug #1.
  19. What oil are you using? what weight? What is your pressure at idle? Syn or not, has nothing to do with it.
  20. Where or how is your steering linkage coming around the cross member? Rear steer? Can you swap knuckles side to side?
  21. You've got a wiring/cable/ground problem somewhere.
  22. I'd suggest reinstalling the original ECU. And test your fusible links, all seven of those...........they belong in the trash but that's another matter.
  23. Intuition is the highest form of intelligence.
