  1. wish they were that cheap around here...can't touch one for under $1000 here since they have no rust usually...i have found a couple w/no motor, trans or anything much worth saving for a couple hundered but they are far and few in between...but for a running one i have seen a couple beauties in the 1200-1500 range
  2. body lifts are ghey....plain and simple
  3. i like the bumper w/o the carrier...i think the carrier should be on the cherokee only
  4. not that new of an idea...Protofab 4x4 already makes one for the comanche
  5. The drip pans attach underneath the hood to the bottom of the vents so the water stays off the electronics...wouldnt have done these w/o them...LOL
  6. Those have got to be the sexiest hood vents I've seen on a Comanche. What are they off? early 90's Lumina Z34 X2 I owned a 1991 Z34 they are 2 doors with spoilers and 3.4 engine. well no offense but they're ooogly. at least in white. if the front bumper was actually painted up black, header panel properly to match the chief stripes, and hood vents in black, then it would be kosher with me lol actually the front bumper is black...used some crappy paint so it faded...going to powdercoat it instead of paint...and the whole truck is going to paint so everything matches...i figured no point to paint the header white if I'm going to remove all the strips anyway and repaint.. :smart:
  7. Thats a misconception by alot of people...i have used drop brackets on my MJ for a while now and have never once caught them on a rock...they were also on my first cherokee for 3 years and never hung them up...
  8. Those have got to be the sexiest hood vents I've seen on a Comanche. What are they off? early 90's Lumina Z34
  9. Thx...i really need to take my bumper in to have it powdercoated!
  10. Installed some hood vents yesterday...best thing is they came with drip pans underneath to keep the water off the electronics plus let excessive heat get out....
  11. here are my vents;
  12. cut holes in my hood and install new hood vents
  13. ...if you are buying a kit with adjustable control arms (uppers AND lowers), then you DO NOT need drop brackets. I recommend drop brackets even with adj control arms....your ride will be terrible @ 5"+ on short arms...i know from experience...i now have D/B on mine and it so much smoother....HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM if you plan on that height
  14. 6" Skyjacker coils, ACOS, RE drop brackets, SOA D44 rear 33x12.5 BFG A/T
  15. I'm at 7" of lift and don't have any problems with my setup?....take out those re-arched leafs and put a set of stock 4x4 ones in
  16. I went to my local yard last monday...spent 2 hours and walked away with: -4 gas struts (mustang) -maroon full center console (MJ) -fixed vent window w/great seals (MJ) -headlight switch (mustang) -complete 8.8 rear axle w/no-slip (mustang) paid $135 for everything
  17. swapped the wing windows out for fixed ones yesterday and cleaned the throttle body...still have to track down the exhaust leak and odd occasional high idle
  18. I avoided the RRO kit like the plague when i finally lifted my rig way up....i went with the RE drop brackets and love them....NEVER have i gotten hung up on a rock even though they do hang down so that's never been an issue...Now don't get me wrong i would love to go to Longarms and will when the $ lets me
  19. Correct....if you want a quality Longarm kit your gunna spend a good amount of money...don't go cheap cuz youll just re-spend the money to do it right
  20. thats a drain plug for the bed...should have 2 one on both sides near the front of the bed
  21. Hes not running a stock rear axle :clapping:
  22. WOW....that picture is WAY old...here is the only other picture of it... http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=986652
  23. Nah i never got it b/c i was short on cash...so you actually have the first one but the deal he was going to give me on the bumper I'm using on the sliders instead and i CANNOT pass on that deal...i will eventually get the bumper but its still not on his webpage...plus I'm too lazy to call :fool:
  24. No...YJ wranglers are Leaf spring front axles...TJ, ZJ, XJ , MJ all share the same mounting style using coils....it can work but its way more work than its worth
