  1. I have bowled several 300's....most recently this summer
  2. Plenty of light, more than H4 singles, if you do an H4 conversion on the quad headlamps. In your opinion it is. I did the H4 conversion to both the single and the quads and the quads didnt compare so i switched the panel back, my opinion and its the only one that matters.
  3. Had one of those on my MJ for a while. Was cool at first then the lack of light at night from the headlights got old. Swapped it back to the original. Nice find tho
  4. I ran the RK bracket and bar for several years with DD duties and offroad duties. Never had a problem with it. Thats my vote for Trackbar
  5. Time for a rebuild. Mine did the same thing but in first gear. The grooves on the syncro were ground smooth. I paid $450 to have mine rebuilt and that was after i looked for a long time for anyone who had the parts to replace them with. Be better going with the AX15 now
  6. it could be worth 4k but I'm telling you it won't sell for that. Expect to get around $3000.
  7. Yea..its been a fast couple of days for some big names...still a couple out there but i think peyton signs with miami or tennessee. Denver/Az are out.. Why if you don't like football make a moronic post like that. Is it your goal to get your post count up or what> Go troll another topic...
  8. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/2805553016.html
  9. will not bolt up. need to cut off and reweld the spring pads in the correct location.
  10. No they didnt...mine is a white chief with maroon interior
  11. i got a mid 90's ranger roll bar in my truck...much better than the factory bar IMHO
  12. they have been out of business for like 6-7 years now. My MJ was the base for their rear bumper. Those rock rails were junk..I refused to put them on my MJ when they wanted me to test a set. I liked my rockers
  13. If i were you i would check the actual fuel pressure with a gauge. My truck did the exact same thing and i finally checked the fuel pressure. At idle it was fine but as soon as i gave it some throttle it sputtered and almost quit running. I pulled the fuel pump and it turned out to be the rubber hose that runs from the pickup assembly to the acutal pump itself. The hose had rotted out and under load the fuel was just dumping right back into the tank and starving the truck. Check that before you start wasting money on parts.
  14. I put a 96 booster in my turd a couple years ago. Its mostly plug and play as in it will bolt in and everything will line up. You will need to make new brake lines from the master cylinder to the proportioning valve and then address the brake switch. U can modify the rod to accept your current brake switch but i chose to run the 96 brake light switch. I swapped out the pedal assemble b/c mine (87) didnt have the provision for the switch already. Either way its very simple. Look up the brake light switch for a 1987 comanche and then look at one for a 1996 cherokee and you will see the difference.
  15. i don't have to go to anyone lol...I'm really intertwined in the jeep community around here. Matter of fact since i bought my house i have had several people show up with CJ's, cherokee's and comanches on a dollie or trailer and ask me if i want it. I have bought my last 2 comanche's that way, one with a factory d44. Also got a cherokee for $100 that the p/o thought the motor was knocking....turned out to be an exhaust leak :D Sold it to my brother for $2500 after i lifted it for him. guess it helps that i have a my flagpole in the front yard with the american flag :USAflag: plus a jeep flag along with it. Thank god my wife loves me
  16. as said above...your brake booster is junk...replace it
  17. i love my RK trackbar and bracket. I'm at 7" of lift and its pure beef. I also have RK steering as well.
  18. the one near the vacuum block is the other tps sensor. the manual (5spd) only uses one as the automatics (aw4) use 2 for the tps and the cruise control. i have the spare one just laying there too. here is mine..if you look under my vacuum block you can kinda see it tucked underneath the other looks like the Crank sensor plug.
  19. this has been ran asked so many time. if you use the search function at the top of the screen you will find what you looking for. A SOA will move the rear leaf springs from running under the axle to on top of the axle. Depending on the axle (99% a D35) and the condition of your springs you will net between 5"-8" of lift. If you are looking for 3" or less, SOA is not in your future
  20. looks like my 87 chief...only about 1.5" taller..Look good
  21. i had one...factory blue chief..but parted it out due to some massive front end damage. There is a picture of a blue one that i have seen on CC somewhere before
  22. here's my white Chief Couple days after i brought her home in 2004: More recently in 2011: The Chiefs came in white, red and blue. The blue ones are the rarest then white then red. Still a great find though.
  23. it looks good...i like it a lot. I'm the guy who like all type of comanche's and i would DD this one and wheel mine. I have some fiberglass fenders on mine and it will look awesome when its all painted one color too!
  24. once the vehicle gets a "salvage title" it will always have one unfortunantly. Unless the dash from another truck is swapped in... Brandon You can swap a dash all you want but unless you get the "clean title" along with the dash so the VIN #'s match MVD won't inspect/smog/register it at all
