  1. Are the circled pins the ones you're describing? They are marked as TP371 and TP471, to which did you attach the right and left, does orientation matter? I've found Jeep cassette players with two types of fronts, one with the clock button (newer model) and ones with the DX button. However, I've found that some with the DX button have the board vertical and some have it horizontal and all that I have are different than automan2164's pictures (at least 4 versions?). The picture with the three radios has the DX ones lined up front to back. You can see similarities between the DX ones but the boards are in different orientations, and both the front DX one and the CLK one have horizontal boards. I've circled the TP371 & TP471 pins in all radios. The blue tape has the model numbers from the other side of the radios.
  2. I have every show on my DVR. His comic delivery is great.
  3. The 750 series came on the MJ/XJ, the 850 series came on the Grand Wagoneers, there's a current commercial with a Grand Wagoneer and people at a picnic where you can see the 850s.
  4. Yup, mine did that when I bought it new in '90.
  5. Tank looks like a cool little guy. My wife found a Cocatiel about three years ago in the neighbor's tree, she also picks due to emotional issues. Her name is Butters.
  6. Hey Rob, what kind of bird do you have?
  7. I hate you so much. Rob L. Ditto, since you have two JEEP banners, and I have none. :rotf:
  8. Where's the picture of the entire tribe??
  9. O.K., now post two of them in the Classifieds!!!
  10. What's this "salt" you're talking about??? ;)
  11. Hi Joe, It was at the same gas station where we met up that day, he was even in the same parking spot you were in. :clapping:
  12. It was cloudy here too, but I went to look anyway and the low cloud cover looked pink at midnight. I was a little eerie looking.
  13. Actually the rear side panels are held on by the nuts, the panel has two metal "tabs" on each side that insert behind the side pillars, then there are two metal brackets at the bottom that bolt to the floor. Their location is where the carpet or rubber floor covering has tabs cut into them. The brackets look like this.
  14. jeepcoma, There are two rods that attach to the release mechanism with those little swivel clips like the inner door handles. You should be able to disconnect the clips so the rods disengage from the mechanism and then just yank on them to release the gate. I have an extra handle if you're interested, just pm me.

    Saw two MJs

I very rarely see any other MJs except my neighbor's. Today I was going home for lunch and spotted a white SporTruck in the gas station parking lot so I pulled in next to it in my white '88 Pioneer. The owner was there and we talked about our trucks for a while, his is an '87 with a black interior that he purchased in '88. I gave him the CC card that I carry in my wallet, he seemed very interested since he's been having problems with his e-brake staying engaged. Perhaps a new member? Well, I went home, had lunch, was driving back to work and in front of the same gas station I passed another MJ. This one was a long bed Pioneer, that Black Cherry color. I've never seen two MJs in one day before, let alone within 45 minutes.

  19. Way to go G-man. p.s. Don, was that a picture from an E-bay auction? The guy was in Boston or was it Florida???
  20. My wife (girlfriend at the time) gave me this exact bed mat for Christmas in 1990 and she purchased it from the dealer, Codiroli Chrysler Jeep in Livermore, CA.
  21. The sport bar and lights came as separate options, A & T below.

  23. I don't know how I missed this thread!! This truck is going to be INCREDIBLE when it's completed. I saw it back in July, outstanding attention to detail. BTW, Stinky's engine will be put to good use in the spring :waving: .

  25. I defrost switch will not work, you need one that stays on, the defrost just switches on then toggles off. As mentioned the trans or fog switch will work.
