  1. I would say she has the brains in the family, and they're rubbing off on you. :rotf: Welcome to the club. :wavey: Where are you located?
  2. Just for future reference. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12734&hilit=electrical
  3. Since the bench seat does not have head rests it's an '89 or earlier (if it's original).
  4. My '88 bench did not have head rests. According to the parts manual head rests came in '90 on a bench seat.

  6. There's a CELEBRITY among us!!! Welcome SaharaMJ. By the way, what year MJ is it?
  7. No, it's silver, just looks black. :D I'm still interested if it's silver, was just asking because it did look black.

    VIN Check

Are you picking up both? :clapping:
  9. Is that lower body molding Black? I'm interested in all 10 pieces if they're in good shape. Keep me in mind, but yeah, it's a shame to part it out.

    VIN Check

This checks out, your initial post had it as 24 Image Not Found

    VIN Check

Digit #9, the 1 in your case.

    VIN Check

Don, this site says the check digit is not correct, should be 8 http://jeep.avtograd.ru/VIN/vin_de.asp (in German) the English version isn't working anymore.
  13. You're correct it can be an '87  (actually '87-'89), but I'm still guessing '88 only because there are more '88s registered here on CC .
  14. Upon further review, my guess is 1988.
  15. I can only narrow it down to '88 to '92.
  16. This is what the accessory guide shows, does yours look like this?
  17. It is used to lower the tire down. Put it in the hole through the rear for the tire winch and then put the crank in it. Most were lost long ago. I know for a fact that type of lug wrench and "adapter" did not come on '90 models but not sure when they changed. I did find them in an '86 at the JY, now they're in my '88.
  18. Anyone willing to post codes that work at their On-Line site?

    O.K. now you're just throwing in "Strange Brew" references ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsgVspgy184&feature=related Kuu-lu-ku-ku-ku-ku-ku-kuu, Kuu-lu-ku-ku-ku-ku-ku-kuu :clapping:
  20. Thanks, any input on good brands? NAPA, O'Reilly, Autozone are the parts stores by me. Just removed the calipers (not disconnected yet waiting for input to purchase), the right one was dragging very badly.
  21. Jim, I have the SASE/$20 ready to go but need a mailing address.
  22. Won't this shred at anything over 25 mph? Is it just 3mil plastic?
  23. I see there are brake calipers with OE Phenolic Piston or Metal Piston. Is there and advantage of one over the other? The metal is more expensive, worth it? Also, what does semi-loaded mean in a caliper description?
  24. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

I remember drinking Schmidt beer in college. It was the cheapest priced suit case around. The "Brew that Grew with the Great Northwest".
