  1. Where did you get it?
  2. Pictures???
  3. Thanks for flexible tube source. I was the picture of safety  :t-shirt, shorts, sandals in the bed of one MJ under a tarp (had to block the wind), but I did have my mask on
  4. Finally got the engine back in, now just have to hook everything up.
  5. It's held in by the urethane sealant. You can use aircraft cable to cut around it. Get it through one point then have a helper help you "saw" around the perimeter (one of you inside the other outside), either wrap the cable around a wood dowel or use vice grips as handles.
  6. Thanks guys, I ended up using my O2/MAPP set up and brazing it together.
  7. Yup, 21 years tomorrow (7/7)
  8. Just asking because their web site says up to 500 degrees and not recommended for exhaust. I don't know how hot the EGR tube gets.
  9. I'm adding a Blackjack header to my '88 4.0, but the EGR tube will not match up. I took a section out of the middle, cut another pipe to use as a sleeve for the cut ends and need to weld it in place. I only have a small O2/MAPP gas set up and was wondering if JB Weld would work instead. They fit pretty tight and the pieces overlap by at least 3/4 of an inch. Deleting the tube is not an option, CA smog inspections.
  10. The 10 hole with rivets around the perimeter were found on ELIMINATOR packages only. I would keep those.
  11. Check your ID plate on the firewall
  12. Acting as a mobile work bench.
  13. Here's the second one I did with the TP method, the first was practice on the old engine.
  14. Went to NASCAR Sprint Cup practice/qualifying at Infinion Raceway and got free tickets to the IRL race in July. Some footage from Turn 2.
  15. Thanks for the tip (searching really helps), I just tried this and it worked GREAT. I figured it wasn't as messy as the packing grease method and I didn't feel like going into town to rent the puller. At first I wasn't sure if anything was happening but then noticed the bearing was not flush any longer. It takes a lot more TP thank you think.
  16. Nice find!!! I don't think that's the factory topper. For towing, my '89 2WD has a D44.

don't listen to this guy, turn it 180 degree to the right. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
  23. Are you sure yours don't fold? They don't stay folded, more like collapse when they hit something and spring back but not all the way back into the clip.
  24. Here are the three types of factory mirrors. The top left one goes in the window corner.
