If you need the AX15 plate that bolts to the trans and then to the mount and the mount to the crossmember the PN is 52003927. There's one on ebay, a little steep https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.X52003927.TRS0&_nkw=52003927&_sacat=0 You can also see the step down in the AX15 crossmember where the rubber mount attaches..

Marchal 850GT Fog Lights
fiatslug87 replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I think the smaller 750s look more in proportion with the truck, especially with the '85 21 slot grill since the slots are so narrow (there's a lot going on there). If I ever get a factory roll bar the 850s are going on it. I also have a set of amber lenses for the 750s that I might throw on the blue truck. -

On my '89 LWB with the AW4, measurement X (back side) on your diagram is 1.36" on both sides and the ends of the crossmember are flush with the edge where the frame rails angle in.

Is that a new horn button? Looks good.

Checking in, all is OK with CMNCHE1, 2 & 3. We are about 10 miles from the Atlas fire burning in Napa/Solano counties, looks like they stopped its advance. Unfortunately my wife's 2nd cousin and great aunt lost their homes in Santa Rosa. The devastation is horrible, thoughts and prayers for everyone affected by the hurricanes & fires.

Nice! G, never see on here anymore.

I've been using Photo Compress (free version) easy to use and seems to work. I'm on Apple.

Worn out bearings sound...Water Pump or other?
fiatslug87 replied to Motorhead X's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
You can also use a long screwdriver, place your ear on the handle and the tip on the water pump, valve cover, engine block, etc. to locate the sound. -
Love the CC koozie in the video!

AX-15, I guess they're not bulletproof.

Three years ago I was driving my '88 MJ, at a stoplight the trans decided to not move out of neutral. I got it towed back home and pushed it into the garage. Fast forward three years, finally dropped the the trans and took it to get repaired. This is what caused it to lock up, a small crack in the 5th gear (@ 12 o'clock in the pic)! It's all back together now and running great, should have gotten to it much sooner.

It is shown in the '86 & '88 accessories catalogs but says it is hinged. The PN was 8982200663 and in '88 was a $171.69 option.
