  1. From our one and only @Airborne Janitor Thanks for taking the plunge!
  2. Obligatory mass market love song There's only one answer here
  3. I just followed this guide. old motor was taking 3.3a while on low setting. New motor consumed 1.2a while on low setting. I think I either repacked too much grease in the old motor or the fat lady was singing and I gave her the microphone
  4. Very cool! It's great that microcenter has such an awesome selection of single board computers and gadgets.
  5. That looks stock! nice job
  6. Congrats! That's one big undertaking. Best of luck! Send more photos as you progress
  7. You are in littleton, CO I would Highly recommend you just visit your Denver, CO Microcenter. Microcenter prices are often the same as amazon or less, and are local and accessible. The staff are usually knowledgeable. It is an incredibly useful store. Need to pickup 3d printer filament? No problem! Need a soldering iron, solder wick, solder, crimps, connectors, fuses etc... They have it. It is nice to be able to feel and use the laptop you are interested in before purchase. A lot of the cheap plastic laptops have very mushy and short travel keyboards. Microcenter has a larger selection of laptops than bestbuy and you can actually try them out. There's no multi-week wait time that HP and dell love to pull at online checkout when you order something other than the most mass produced pre-selected machine. Go for it!
  8. Yeah. Front loading washing machines also have filters that become absolutely nasty and clogged if you do not regularly service them. Also, if you use one of those brita water pitchers, make sure to replace the filter on a regular cycle like the manual says. If you do not, enjoy wonderfully terrible mold growth on your replaceable filter which leads to months of stomach discomfort. It is really crooked that brita did not mention that this can be a side effect, instead they just state "trust me bro" in the literature.
  9. Why limit yourself to one project when you can have two? Hahaha, that's one hell of a score right there. Nice find! Good luck with restoration
  10. In case you are looking for a replacement diverter T: The part is called "CHRYSLER HEATER HOSE RETURN 52003248" available here.
  11. I'm pretty sure I used Auveco # 11146 and just trimmed the head a bit to slide into the groove. The back plastic fits snug.
  12. Woah it's back! This is super cool of you to offer. I paid $100 for a beat up one and after looking around and finding out it would take $100+ of epoxy and fiberglass to fix it and many hours of my time, I decided to look again and settled on a more usable used one for $150. $350 is really a pretty reasonable figure here considering its a finished product, all you have to do is install it and just shipping a box this size automatically incurs an oversized box fee.
  13. Woah, nice job. Looks like an, ahemm, writeup to me
  14. For comparison's sake, Mutiny, a company that specializes in robust adapters for the cinema industry, 3D prints many of their smaller parts using a combination of pa6-cf / pa12-cf and fuzzy skin. It is truly incredibly what you can 3d print these days. Thanks to boxy jeep for making these available!
  15. For those wanting a longbed sportbar. Located in Salem, KY ...and chrome handles https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1361135018568367/
  16. Sorry to hear that :/ The new shoes look mighty fine
  17. Hell yes! So much excellence reviving one of these babies. Hats off to you!
  18. Curious if anyone has one of these babies. I have one for the front but the back license plate is getting a little lonely. Also looking for a Driver Side OEM Hazard Light Thanks!
  19. Boo yah! Excellent work! Now to get a little more road time!
  20. No prob! Good luck with it. The original factory hoses are crimped on, but you can do just fine with pipe clamp style hoses. They make non-marring pipe clamp hoses as well. I grabbed some non-marring ones from gates and used those. They work great. I think at this point, the issues tend to arise from the original rubber hoses breaking down at this tee and of course, the tee's occasionally rotting out. Mine was very rusty. My brother replaced his on his XJ just last year. That's how I remembered the part#
