1975 Brutally Simple Daily Driver

Very cool adapter! -
I've read threads here and on other jeep forums about 4 hole dodge injectors. I was thinking of grabbing 2 sets of dodge neon injectors off ebay, ultrasonically cleaning them, getting a new o-ring kit and some ev6 pigtails. example https://www.ebay.com/itm/177527270433 I was going to get a set of fuel rails from scrapyard auto parts dealers on ebay in hopes of getting real oem parts and not clones. Has anyone done this? Thoughts? Thanks a ton!

2002 Durango 5.9 160 Amp Alternator Wiring
Salvagedcircuit replied to Gojira94's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
From what I remember reading is that renix jeeps need a 91-98 alternator bracket. However, doesn't the frame also need to be modified to fit in the stock location? I have an AC jeep and I don't want to forgo ac for a larger alternator. Thanks! -

Aww yeah, what an excellent save! Awesome that you resurrected such a rare truck -
For the B-pillar lights, I went with Qasim 3000k 240 lumen festoon leds They were the brightest easiest to acquire leds I could find in that color temp. I simply just bent the metal loops back 90 degrees and they fit into the stock festoon holder. I really hate the 5000k+ color temperature aftermarket LEDs. It looks like a blue-white to me. The 2700-3000k color temperature more accurately represents the incandescent - halogen color temperature range and to me, and its easier on the eyes. It's also more period correct hehehe

Excellent work! If you have a link to the 3m weatherstripping you used on the a-pillar, that would be excellent! -
Site Maintenance - Ongoing Until resolved
Salvagedcircuit replied to Big_Mark's topic in Forum Issues, Ideas, Testing
Thanks a ton @Big_Mark! I use irfanview that has batch image processing. that includes resizing, change compression, renaming etc. It works wonders and is free. I am totally for a sticky'd banner / dedicated thread post about contributing to comanchclub operating costs. I don't mind contributing to a PC / server parts / operating cost fund. Is comancheclub is self hosted? I self host and it is incredible what you can pull off with a modern PC, 10g ethernet and fiber internet. Granted, you have many users here and this will likely not work with your traffic. 800x600 resolution would be awesome to achieve, the 600x450 resolution limit is restricting at times and may be off-putting to new members. There are a lot of great server hosts out there. Digital ocean, linode, namecheap etc... Maybe its worth it to do a price / performance comparison with the current host. -

I could not believe my eyes when I saw this in old navy today. It is not a perfect match to a comanche, but its dang close Correct: The rear tail lights The stripe THE ROLLBAR! With lights! The front lights are square-ish Off: The large mirrors are not mid-door mount The rollbar lights are not round KC lights It's too bad it was in a kids size 6-7. Yes I asked if they had this in mens. The register lady laughed and told me no. If any of you have toddlers or young kids, Go Go Go! There are 2 left at my store.
