1986 Jeep Cherokee!

I don't think for 9K that ad is going to work. -
I replaced a 60 and with a 100 amp.

I really just don't get it. They had the engine out why wouldn't you paint the engine compartment. I mean $10 in spray paint and it would look so much better. Another $10 in wire loom and it would look even better. I would guess if you tried you could find allot of things that could be done better. I would really like to know what they actually get for it. That is if they ever sell it.

Yeah and that green fire wall ain't winnin nothin.
-
I get that. But at $25K I would be expecting to put in gas and drive. Not wrench on it at all.

electricity not working for fuel pump
JMO413 replied to Jeepingisfun's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
You technically add an extra ground. You run a new ground wire closer to the pump any tie it into the factory wiring. -
You would think for $25K it would be running and driving along with painting the engine compartment.

That is where they taped into the oil pressure for the add in gauge in the dash. The part in the end of that mess looks like the oe oil pressure sensor. You should be able to unscrew it from what they added. The remove the rest of the add on stuff and put the oe back in the hole.

You should be good to swap everything. You will have to use the 4wd transmission. You will have to check the rear gear ratio in the 2wd and see if it matches the front. If it's doesn't you'll have to swap the rear also.

What a pain in the neck.....and back...and knuckles

I love it! Or you just have your 12 year old start the nuts with his tiny hands. -
So I am working on getting my new to me 4.10 rear axle to go in. It's really cleaner than it looks I promise. First two coats of paint. Never tried this before but seemed like the perfect choice for this. I can truly say I've never painted a drill before. Two coats of 2000 degree primer. Two coats of flat black 2000 degree paint. I think the flat black will look good behind my wheels. I know no one likes Rusty's but these seem very nice. My originals were more than a little deformed when I had them off last. This seems to be a some what normal issue. I hammered them flat and reused them. These seem nicely made and very heavy. Painted them black also. We'll see how long it lasts. Off to get axle seals so I can change them and finish getting it ready to go in. Hopefully next weekend it will be in it's new home.

I figure the clamp holds it good enough. It's hasn't been a problem yet. But it's a Jeep so who knows.

I feel you on that one. In 6'4" about 300 lbs and it truly sucks to change. I removed the seat and that only helped a little. -
I am very happy with the Thrush I have on mine. The rest of the exhaust is Walker OE replacement. If I remember right Auto zone was the cheapest in the muffler. The rest was ordered from Amazon. I used the newer head pipe beacuse I am using an HO exhaust manifold. Flex pipe is where the convertor was factory. I like the throaty sounds it has.

The Duramax is quite impressive stock let alone tuned and some speed parts thrown at it.

That had to be the first person that ever bragged about a 6.2.

That is beautiful! Wonder if they will get that out of it?
