  1. I actually got that from nickintime. I have read that from multiple places in the wonderful internet.
  2. You can definitely change it without pulling the trans. Only tip I have is use dish soap as lube when you install it.
  3. Welcome to the club! I agree with what everyone else has stated. Get it running and see what problems it has before you start modifications. Cruisers tips are a must.
  4. I can see what you asked about it every time. Very nice truck you have there. Sounds like your had a great faster in law! Sorry to hear about the loss. Welcome to the club. Make sure to fill out your signature.
  5. Say it can't be so.

    Hornbrod update

    Thanks for the update.
  8. The PSA should include not plugging in the under hood light connector also.
  9. I would guess bad sockets they're kinda notorious for being an issue.
  10. I would definitely be interested in a SWB if I was near your travels. I would have no issue posting half or all up front.
  11. Not worth the time just fix the Renix. The 4.7 is huge and not really a great design. 235 HP just isn't worth it in me eyes.
  12. So last week the truck developed a noise. It was definitely rotational sounding and only between 8-13 MPH. I was sure it was a u joint so I changed the only two that weren't already new. They were in the rear drive shaft and we're the only ones I hadn't replaced yet. Out with the drive shaft. A ball joint press makes u joints easy. IMHO O'reilly's actually stocked Spicer yay. Everything went back together quite nice. Took it for a drive and still have the gremlin. So the 6 year old and I took out the front drive shaft. He was beyond proud of himself. I only had to break then lose and he did the rest. It was a great day except the gremlin was still there. So I give the WK to work this week. To say the least this was driving me slightly crazy. So off to try and get the nose pin pointed. After finding the perfect wall to bounce the noise off my new guess was the right front hub. So I got a Timken from Rock Auto. Hopefully this will be better than the Moog! It all came apart nicely. Antisieze is an amazing product! In with the new. Hopefully it last more than a few thousand miles. Back together and no more noise!! It really like me that a Moog hub only lasted a few thousand miles and a couple years. I guess live and learn. Happy to be driving it again!
  13. Here it is.
  14. Your welcome. Good to hear others are using them.
  15. GM and Mopar both have 4 in 1 dye. Engine oil, trans, P/s,& diff if I recall correctly. So you should be good to go.
  16. I installed the CSF and am very happy with it.
  17. That will definitely cause problems. http://cruiser54.com/?p=280 Here's the cruiser tip to fix it for good.
  18. https://youtu.be/cwFYRzcTZHs Here's mine today for what it's worth.
  19. His symptoms were the flu pretty much and his taste was wonky. He slept a couple days and was back to mostly normal. Everyone else got tested and we're negative. I just donated blood and they are antibody test for free so that could be interesting.
  20. Iowa is currently mask free. A few business have signs up still but not enforced. Kids are still required to wear a mask to school. They have gone full school all year. My oldest tested positive but no one else in the house got it.
  21. That is going to look Good!
  22. Welcome hopefully it helps.
  23. http://cruiser54.com/?p=47 I would check the main sensor ground. Cruiser covers it in the tip above.

    How old are you?

I get to say I'm in my 30's for about 3 more months. I only out date the Comanche by 4/5 years.
