Under the coil.

They will fit but you can't open the vent window very far. I have them on my 96 XJ. They do keep them from leaking though.

You are correct. The 2.8 went to the 3.1 then the 3.4 with GM making design changes to better it each time. The early S10 and Blazers had the 2.8 and it was very popular to swap to the 3.4

Chevy 3.4 is as straight forward as it gets.

I LOVE those cars! Helped a buddy build one way back in the day. It was a 2 door 4 speed. Lifted a little with a ton of trimming to fit 31/10.50/15.

So I was backing out at work a couple weeks ago and a customer going the wrong way hit me. Luckily they just caught the bumper. Peeled it like a banana. Totaled the bedside on the Chevy! Trimmed off the bent part and hammered it down so the tailgate could open. It did a number on the bumper! Got the new one installed today. It fought me but it's on.

I definitely like my Ryobi

Instrument cluster, radio, electric cooling fan clutch, cracked head, 4wd actuator for the front axle that mounts to the oil pan, & now the rear section of the frame the suspension mounts are rusting off. I sold parts at a dual line dealer while both where in production the Trailblazer problem were at minimum 5 times more than an XJ.

XJ for sure the trail blazers was never a very good vehicle. They did make me a ton of money selling parts though.

I cut three extra sets for mine when I got a new lock cylinder. We still have the old machine at work. Our new machine will not cut a single sided key. It's also horrible at tracing keys. It dues cut the high security keys and double sided perfectly from the VIN. We cut outside keys at work at your own risk.
