Cleaned and organized the garage for the last couple weeks. I can finally actually work on this old girl. Used the trans jack to set this in place. I love the looks of this DirtBound front bumper! Now this is what I get to see when I open the garage door.

Downey Products tonneau cover

I will have to let you know on the water. It rolls up nice and the cross bars just pop out. The canvas comes completely off the frame. -

I agree. -
Finally but the bullet and bought the Downey Products tonneau cover. It's a nice cover for the price. IMHO $299.95 to my front door. Frame and bows installed. Fits super tight. Love how it changed the look of the truck.

I finally bought one. I have wanted a tonneau cover for a while and finally but the bullet. Frame installed. Not a giant fan on the rails not being part of the canvas. Definitely a tight tight fit. Tailgate still opens perfectly. For $299.95 too my front door I love it. It fits perfect. It was beyond easy to install. I really like the look of the truck with it on.

Jeep MJ project, guidance needed
JMO413 replied to RusellFromCanada's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Welcome to the club. Mine is 31's and 4.10. IMHO it's the perfect ratio. I also don't mind shifting half way through the intersection. The combo is also perfect for a DD. Enough to go most places and still nice to drive. Don't forget to fill out your signature. -
Welcome to the new normal.

Amazon got me again with the things you might be interested in. This is just going to live in my truck. Much smaller than an actual meter and volts DC is pretty much Renix. LoL. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PX16XDX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_WRYSR1SP3Z0DYJ7CVEY8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Sounds to me like a ECM can't hurt if you know yours is burnt. I updated mine too the 89-90. Got it from AutoZone of all places and it was $150 if remember right.

JCR rear bumper not avaliable?
JMO413 replied to TieDyeJK8's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Dirtbound shipping is slow. 3-4 months to get the correct bumper. I got the wrong front bumper shipped to me but they did finally get me the correct one. I really do like the bumper though. It was worth the wait in my opinion. I ordered a battery tray and frame stiffeners at the same time. They showed up in a decent time frame. COVID-19 will be the excuse until the next excuse shows up. IMHO -
Nice work glad you saved it. It looks 1000% better.

This one has been for sale for a while. -
Nano sockets. Metric is Astro Pneumatic and the SAE are Sunex. I say a regular shallow on each end. These are awesome when you can't fit a regular socket. The bottoms are 22MM you can use a wrench on.
