  1. Anyone else?
  2. Ugggggghhhhhhhh It started with replacing the carb.
  3. Here is a write up on the swap.
  4. It looks like it might have bondo in the rockers and cab corners based on how the doors look. Also, the bed looks too nice considering how bad the doors are. I think the price is too high.
  5. I saw someone cut two clusters apart and modified them so that he had the tach and shift indicator. He was in one of the Comanche FB groups. I think he just removed the shift indicator from one of the clusters and put it in the other, but do not remember 100%. I'll post a picture if I can find one. I know @Pete M is in many of the MJ groups on FB. Maybe he would remember.
  6. You could make cookies! Ope, I think I missed the point the first time that I read that.
  7. I'm no help here either. I would assume 84-86 would not work though because I know the firewalls were different on those rigs too.
  8. An aluminium topper probably wouldn't be ideal for the AZ sun now that I think about it.
  9. Thread has been started in the Pub too to get more attention. I really want to see that truck for some reason. The pictures make it seem super nice.
  10. There's just something about a fully accessorized MJ that is awesome to me. An aluminium topper would totally complete the look in my mind.

Huh. I must be making things up in my head again. LOL.
  12. Geez. The west just can't catch a break with these fires. Stay safe!
  13. This is still one of my favorite MJOTMS to date. But don't tell anyone I said that.
  14. I will not be there. You may want to post up these events a few weeks or even months in advance down in the events section and a group of MJers might be able to get to one.
  15. Awesome! Thank you!
  16. I do like that hood. How does this MJ compare in performance to your stroked MJ?
  17. It seems like a majority of SCs end up in the junkyard. It's sad.
  18. Would you say you noticed a big difference in the braking performance since you have done this?

That is a very nice looking truck! Was this for sale recently? I want to say I saw an ad with a similar truck for sale in the last couple of months.
  20. This, but I'm pretty sure its when the cab/frame is made and not when the truck is supposed roll off of the assembly line. I say that because my truck's birthday isn't until early January of 89, but the cowl stamp is 12/14/88.
  21. I do not have either, but you may want to specify whether or not you want a 97+ clutch/brake pedal assembly or a 87?-96 clutch pedal assembly because the firewalls on the 87-96 rigs are different from the 97+. If you are sticking with the Renix era front end, you will probably want a 87-96 assembly.
  22. Did you make a decision on whether or not you are getting it? Personally, mileage doesn't matter to me if it is rust free. I would rather replace u-joints, suspension parts, bushings, etc. than need to do bodywork. What would your plan be with the vehicle? I ask because many of us lift our Jeeps and ditch the stock suspension, so having a low mileage suspension doesn't really matter.
