1987 Jeep Comanche TURN SIGNAL/WINDSHEILD WIPER
89 MJ replied to Jeep1121's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
How is the fuse? Mine worked with a test light, but it wouldn't power the lights because of the extra strain on it. -
We haven’t had any luck yet. Thank you!

It’s a 10. This one is the short bed.
-
Hoarder. This is why I am moving south.

Who all is looking at going? I know that I really want to go, regardless of whether or not I still have my MJ, but I may be at a wedding. The dates are July 24th and 25th at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. Also, it would be sweet if we could all cruise there together and park as a group. http://pajeeps.org/index.php/jeep-show-2/

Is anyone planning on going next year? If I still have my MJ I'm going to try to get it there.
-
It is not. I’ll prbably make it a runner though.

Here are the paint details. It was a single stage acrylic enamel. I shot the engine myself. Don’t worry-that Fram is going away.
-
Sooooo I brought another one home today. $160 with tire chains, wheel weights, tiller, and snowblower.
-
I’ll try to send you a pic in the next day or two.

We got as close as we could to the 79 J10 engine blue.
-
I did not have any factory skid plates. I just ran some screws into the fender bracket on the right side to hold the vacuum ball.
-
The OP isn’t sure he should cut the fenders. I think he will come to regret it if he does.
-
I hope to be sandblasting my 96 engine tonight. And I decided to paint it AMC blue instead.

Peugeot BA10/5 Transmission Fluid Change
89 MJ replied to caseyrstewart's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
That is good information and I'm sure it will help someone, but generally old threads like this do not need to be revived, it will probably be better just to create a new one-many people on this thread are likely not active on this forum anymore. Also, welcome to the forum! -
I just ordered and built a 1:16 scale model of this. I think it turned out great! I will add pictures soon. I also got a dirt blade for it and used it to help move a stump down over a bank and fill in the hole the stump caused.

Another gear ratio / tire size thread
89 MJ replied to EUREKA's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
It would be better for highway cruising. I’m also in 4th gear doing 25 mph. I usually need to shift from 1st to 2nd in the middle of an intersection, which I’m not a fan of. -

I’d do 3.73s if I were building myMJ again. And I’m on 31s with a 5 speed.
