  1. I’m surprised you haven’t found any yet.
  2. Sorry, I was talking about 5-5.5” front coils. SOA will get you about 5.5 ish inches in the rear.
  3. I thought of that, but I combined it with street beat and trailmaster.
  4. Here is mine
  5. Yes, a brochure page with your truck on it.
  6. Why not more?
  7. Mine too. I'm making my brochure page now.

    Old Cars

I'll let you know what we find. I know we have a 68 Coronet grille and bumper.
  9. I've got a game for you. Let's make our MJ's our own factory "special edition" for lack of a better term. What I am thinking is take your major mods, list them (see brochure pics below), and just kinda make your own version of that.

But wait, there's more!!! None of it is organized. None of it. He had wheels in 4 trailers, 3 buildings, and 1 rack outside. I spent 2 weeks sorting hubcaps. I also took 2 weeks to clean and reorganize about 180 bumpers.
  11. Pete, would it be possible for you to take the business card and put it on some sort of document (I think Google Docs would work best) so we could print some out on our own on something like cardstock? If you can't, I might be able to give it a shot.
  12. It's the Flux Capacitor. I can't tell from here. Can you take some pictures a little bit farther back where you are pointing to it?
  13. Have you started a build thread for it? What are the details on it?

So far, we do not have much. That said, there are about 6 buildings and 11 semi trailers. We might be able to come up with some stuff.
  15. I plan on building myself a set of sliders when we get a tubing bender. They would likely be similar to Krusty's though.
  16. Thank you. A main reason I thought of this is because I would like to go to the All Breeds Jeep Show in Carlisle next year, and I want to hit some Junkyards on the way to pick up some extra MJ parts. Or in @Pete M's case, when he goes on roadtrips, he can hit some old junkyards that are more or less "forgotten" and don't have an online presence.

    Old Cars

I don't know how you guys discovered MJs, but I came from the old car community before this. That said, my current job is helping a close friend of mine clean out his old dealership. He is a big GM guy and has brought many rust free GM parts up from AZ and has a huge NOS parts collection. If any of you would be interested in me posting the items that we are digging up and selling, I could post them hear. If you are interested in following our sales on Facebook, our Facebook page is Jim's Classic Parts Center. The dealership is called Jim Carlson's Auto Center. Also, if anyone on here is looking for old parts, feel free to PM me, I know a guy. LOL.
  18. I think this could go well between the regional events and the classifieds because people may be looking for parts in this section too. I don't know if this is a good idea, but I know @JeepTractorGuy has asked me about some of the junkyards by me before (He lives across the river and up the street from me) because lots of our local junkyards have no websites or any sort of inventory that the general public can look up. The nearest junkyard to me is run by a 74 year old man for example. He does not have any sort of website at all.
  19. I am not sure if this could be a sub-forum similar to the regional events, but what if there was a Junkyards per state section? I am thinking it could look similar to the events section which would then be broken down into states. One could then list the junkyards that they have heard of/been to in their area that has desirable Jeep stuff. I'll include what I am thinking below. Home > Comanche Club Forums > Junkyards > Wisconsin (that is what the top of the page would look like) Title:Ray's Salvage and Repair-Trempealeau, WI Description: Name: Ray's Salvage and Repair Location: Trempealeau, WI Items of Interest: Many mostly complete XJs, several fullsize Jeeps Website: N/A I think it would make it easier to document what is at each junkyard.

    What not to do

  21. It is.
  22. I’ve heard that they are narrower.
  23. We decided to take it apart further to clean it because it is super gross. And the new head is installed.
  24. Lets see some pictures!
  25. Sounds good. Thanks. I will look through the options and let you know what I’m thinking.
