89 MJ

I do like that hood. How does this MJ compare in performance to your stroked MJ?

It seems like a majority of SCs end up in the junkyard. It's sad.

Would you say you noticed a big difference in the braking performance since you have done this?

That is a very nice looking truck! Was this for sale recently? I want to say I saw an ad with a similar truck for sale in the last couple of months.

This, but I'm pretty sure its when the cab/frame is made and not when the truck is supposed roll off of the assembly line. I say that because my truck's birthday isn't until early January of 89, but the cowl stamp is 12/14/88.

I do not have either, but you may want to specify whether or not you want a 97+ clutch/brake pedal assembly or a 87?-96 clutch pedal assembly because the firewalls on the 87-96 rigs are different from the 97+. If you are sticking with the Renix era front end, you will probably want a 87-96 assembly.

Did you make a decision on whether or not you are getting it? Personally, mileage doesn't matter to me if it is rust free. I would rather replace u-joints, suspension parts, bushings, etc. than need to do bodywork. What would your plan be with the vehicle? I ask because many of us lift our Jeeps and ditch the stock suspension, so having a low mileage suspension doesn't really matter.

Which injectors. If you don't remember, I am not worried about it. You don't need to go digging for me.

I'm not really worried about my mileage, but my injectors in both of my engines aren't much good anymore. Do you remember which ones that you went with?

Thanks! Thank you! I thought about creating a new thread. Actually, I had started one, but I wanted to start with a good base that already had some info.

Engine and transmission have been mated together. The current engine will come out of the truck when I park it for the winter to start the swap. I would start it now, but its my fair weather daily driver.

I am very sorry to revive a very very very very very very very very very dead thread, I just wanted to see if everyone thinks these injectors are the best for my Renix 4.0 or if there is a better alternative.

That's neat. Almost 4.0 levels of power in a much smaller package.
