Gas overflow after filling up.
eaglescout526 replied to eaglescout526's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
It still pukes out when the pump clicks off, which has been the issue for forever. I haven't had a pump keep pumping when it is full. -
Gas overflow after filling up.

Funny enough I think I tried that when I filled up. I got better results that time, gas still wanted to spew out but I caught it. I think it also comes down to having just replaced the sending unit seal to where now the tank is perfectly sealed and air isn't escaping out of that point. Since the last fill up I noticed I put 15 gallons in and I would say I had about 2 gallons left in the tank so I over filled, so I think it is safe to say at that fill up it clicked off right when it should've and would've read right at the "F" on the gauge. Next fill up I will have to try this theory. -
Sending a PM.

I have a plastic front plate bracket for the XJ/MJ I can send to ya if you want to mess with that.

I can help you acquired the Honey(darker tan) ones. I think there is one driver and pass left. There looks to be tan cloth and vinyl.

Depending on the state in which the Jeep was delivered to or if the Jeep left the factory without one but the dealers put one on. Mine never came with a front license plate but my build sheet has a code that says front license plate attach required, meaning it could've been delivered to a state that required the front plate. I have seen some codes that say front plate delete.
-
Same way except the rear support of the bar is mounted to the wheel well closest to the rear window.
-
Wow. Send it to another state.
-
My apologies. There are no front NOS ones left.
-
I can get you the front part number later. I think there may be a few fronts left as NOS.

Interior colors/paint
eaglescout526 replied to eaglescout526's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
Lol not a single one was suitable and I can not find a Chrysler color chart with part numbers to save my life. I found the charcoal color number once and then I lost it. But I do agree with you there the caps and chart are deceiving but yet all the other colors match perfectly. -

Same dilemma I had before settling with the Rustoleum charcoal color for the darker portion of the grey interior. -
When did the ball cooler disappear?

Despite the better air flow, I think its for the best interest to keep the family jewels cool. -
When did the ball cooler disappear?

Its possible it happened for the 95 model year but was available around 93-94. -

jdog is right. 95 was when they started to appear in the XJ's as factory. The lower panel was reorderable but with the vent as removable and a plug to be ordered with it. That's from the 1984-94 PN supersession. -
Lol. Ever since I got that NOS one.
