    I have a bent tailgate too and looked into repairing mine old one but came across a verdict of just replacing it. But if you have the know how and time(I'm sure we all have time now) to separate everything and straighten it all out you could.

    Yeah, GM weatherpaks can be had cheap already premade and ready to splice into your existing harness. I have mine spliced in using spade connectors.

    I do have a drivers side bucket latch if that’s what you need. If the PO can’t find them I can send you the drivers latch while a passenger side is hunted down.

    I have a 2.5L so I suspect you have a 4.0L. I am not sure of how that engines AC harness operates but it could or it could not work in conjunction with the E-fan. I know a temp sensor goes into the radiator on the Renix years, on the H.O. it is in the T-stat housing. I just know that that four prong plug is for the AC wiring harness for the clutch and relay.

    That is the AC plug. I just added AC to my truck and that's the capped off end for AC. It actually is plug and play. As far as the fan relay I am not sure where that is. Be sure to update your sig with the stats of your MJ.

    Yeah I snagged it off ebay one day without realizing that it wasn't an OEM break away mirror I was after. So I never installed it but it worked great when I had it so I'm glad it still works great in your possession!

    Sorry bout that, didn't think about sending any bolts with it. Glad you found some. I may or may not have the plastic wing piece for the remote control to sit in(didn't think about that either). I would hang onto the steering wheel. Someone somewhere could get that reupholstered and look new again.

    When I got my truck someone had replaced the connector which probably melted from the trans or exhaust heat and used some spade connectors in the factory connectors place I haven't an idea why it was done. But like jdog is saying theres a four pin connector on the passenger side of the engine bay right by the fire wall and engine. Should be the only wiring harness going to the trans aside from whatever 4 wheel drive harness there is.

    I really really don't want to revive an old thread but I couldn't help but notice that no specific tool is listed for the DIY. I just replaced one of the multi terminals last night in my block and ran into an issue with crimping on the wire. Does any one know of a specific tool for these multi terminals? The FSM has nothing listed on the subject.

    I really really really hate to be the one to tell ya but who you quoted is no longer among us. If anyone else has the instructions for this kit do see if you can help a fellow out.

    No I wouldn't disregard it. But I would try to fix that if you can by maybe snugging a hard vac line into the hole and then putting the vac line on and test it to see if it works. If it doesn't work, like I said I have an 87-90 servo that won't work with any of the wiring harnesses I have.

    That's your servo vac harness. It is on a evap box stud. Smart place to put it from further damage.

    Alrighty! Turn signal issue has been solved. Terminals have been replaced, and boy were they just gone for the turn signal and hazard but not the blower or radio terminals. Bench seat has been pressure washed. Sprayed more oxyclean on it to really clean it. Didn't take any before photos but a lot of butt sweat and some Coca-Cola came out from the middle seat and I mean a lot came out. Pretty gross. Also led to the perfect opportunity to lube up the sliding rails.

    I want to say 91. Wish I still had access to my catalog but my 88 does not have head rests either nor a place to put them. I am certain it was a Chrysler afterthought. Yes my 84 does indeed have vinyl headrests and not the Renault sport type ones. Had to go look at my pics myself to. God I really want to go work on that thing.

    That small Vac line traces from where the servo is all the way to the other side of the passenger bumper(the side facing inward). Should be a foot ball shaped cannister and one of the lines goes to the blower controls and the other to the servo. I think I have an 87-90 servo.
