  1. Looking pretty good! Shame you had that much rust.
  2. Yeah I snagged it off ebay one day without realizing that it wasn't an OEM break away mirror I was after. So I never installed it but it worked great when I had it so I'm glad it still works great in your possession!
  3. Sorry bout that, didn't think about sending any bolts with it. Glad you found some. I may or may not have the plastic wing piece for the remote control to sit in(didn't think about that either). I would hang onto the steering wheel. Someone somewhere could get that reupholstered and look new again.
  4. When I got my truck someone had replaced the connector which probably melted from the trans or exhaust heat and used some spade connectors in the factory connectors place I haven't an idea why it was done. But like jdog is saying theres a four pin connector on the passenger side of the engine bay right by the fire wall and engine. Should be the only wiring harness going to the trans aside from whatever 4 wheel drive harness there is.
  5. I really really don't want to revive an old thread but I couldn't help but notice that no specific tool is listed for the DIY. I just replaced one of the multi terminals last night in my block and ran into an issue with crimping on the wire. Does any one know of a specific tool for these multi terminals? The FSM has nothing listed on the subject.
  6. Did you per chance happen to push the cable too much to one side?
  7. I really really really hate to be the one to tell ya but who you quoted is no longer among us. If anyone else has the instructions for this kit do see if you can help a fellow out.
  8. No problem glad to help!
  9. No I wouldn't disregard it. But I would try to fix that if you can by maybe snugging a hard vac line into the hole and then putting the vac line on and test it to see if it works. If it doesn't work, like I said I have an 87-90 servo that won't work with any of the wiring harnesses I have.
  10. That's your servo vac harness. It is on a evap box stud. Smart place to put it from further damage.
  11. Alrighty! Turn signal issue has been solved. Terminals have been replaced, and boy were they just gone for the turn signal and hazard but not the blower or radio terminals. Bench seat has been pressure washed. Sprayed more oxyclean on it to really clean it. Didn't take any before photos but a lot of butt sweat and some Coca-Cola came out from the middle seat and I mean a lot came out. Pretty gross. Also led to the perfect opportunity to lube up the sliding rails.
  12. I want to say 91. Wish I still had access to my catalog but my 88 does not have head rests either nor a place to put them. I am certain it was a Chrysler afterthought. Yes my 84 does indeed have vinyl headrests and not the Renault sport type ones. Had to go look at my pics myself to. God I really want to go work on that thing.
  13. No problem. Let us know what you find.
  14. That small Vac line traces from where the servo is all the way to the other side of the passenger bumper(the side facing inward). Should be a foot ball shaped cannister and one of the lines goes to the blower controls and the other to the servo. I think I have an 87-90 servo.
  15. As much as I would love to have that red. I probably should listen to JEEP and my girl and not go with it. Granted it’s a limited interior but I’d be better trying to find a limited tan interior.
  16. Is this an older house thing? I remember all the handles in my house being the same brass plated handles for years till we changed all the doors.
  17. I would totally swap out my XJ's interior for the Wagoneer limited interior. And I'm not gonna care if my girl hates the porno red.
  18. Well that's a shame, considering they are one of the only few people who make back windows for our already uncommon trucks.
  19. Oh yeah I remember that. Had to go back and look at the PMs.
  20. Any chance the steering wheel and AC deck are still there?
  21. Yes. They are the same for all years.
  22. Indeed it does. Thanks jdog!
  23. If it has the cargo lamp symbol on the switch then that is factory. Yours being an 89 might tell us in the build sheet if the lamp was installed at the factory or dealer. It wasn't a common option as a lot of MJ's on here do not have it. Wish I could get you a build sheet but one of the other two members who can will get you one shortly. Glad it was saved!
  24. No you got the nameplate, it would've been by the passenger taillight, I just never seen what it looked like. I found a NOS one on ebay but just needed a verification of what it looked like was all.
