  1. One member on here told me about it and I soon found one on eBay after looking under dodge turbo diesel nameplates Another member sold me his entire parts stash and I got another one in the mix of those parts. It looks like t can still be found on eBay.
  2. He still doesnt have the TD emblem? Fun little fact, it may not be the same brushed aluminum but its the same font, Chrysler used the same turbodiesel emblem from AMC on their vans for across the pond. I think I have one as NOS with the part number and everything.
  3. Aren’t AX15’s supposed to use 10-40 oil.
  4. I feel like yes that’s true but they’re so new that it’s not hard to keep those stock right now.
  5. I think any Jeep prior to the JK do this. Haha
  6. I might have one side. I know I got a couple that the studs were broken or missing. Not sure where I put them.
  7. I don’t see why it shouldn’t work. Electric speedo is an electric speedo. Cluster won’t care. Now if it’s going in a Renix Jeep that doesn’t have the boxyjeep conversion or HO, it won’t work at all.
  8. Frankenstein. Speedo should be blue and match the fuel gauge.
  9. Ouch. Glad you’re ok. Honestly it looks like you can replace the bezel and still run the header panel.
  10. Well one thing is for certain. They stuck with their two tone inside and out. Welcome and if you haven’t, post up your VIN for a build sheet, date and sold by dealer.
  11. So apparently you can hook up the vacuum football wrong….explains why the AC vents would default to defrost. I learned the same thing on little red years back and never put two and two together when installing the bumper after the paint job.
  12. I’ll have to look and see what I did. I know I did something to make a complete bumper.
  13. Yes. I tried to take one apart to replace the bolts internally and let’s just say that was a pain in the butt to get out. The plastic is formed around the metal plate that has two studs in there.
  14. I watched the guy who is building mama fratelli’a XJ and he bought crown parts, good example of why crown sucks despite having the license to reproduce those parts.
  15. Lucky. They wanted me to put boxes over the mounts and charge me an arm and a leg vs dead weight.
  16. NO!! They need to take note on what the hell quality means.
  17. It’s not. This is the 84-86 set up that is in individual pieces.
  18. Yeah it’s pretty simple to loosen the valve and let fluid flow. I forget who makes the slave cylinders at the moment and I’d tell ya who is a reliable brand if they still make them.
  19. You can bleed it the traditional way. It’s tough to open the bleeder from the slave with the trans in position but I found it’s easy if you remove the crossmember and lower the trans and bleed it that way. But still doable the traditional way. Now I never really studied the procedure and I’m sure it works really really well with the tool but I don’t own the tool so I can’t say.
  20. Hey guess what! I am back at it today. So many years ago I pulled this fan from a 2.8L Wagoneer XJ I pulled it thinking I could use it on Little Red. Well I couldnt and still cant due to the blades orientation...I was gonna get rid of it today till I started looking at it some more and dug into the 86-87 parts book to see what it is. Well the book kinda helped. So I said what the hell lets put it on anyways. I got the old fan off and started comparing the two. Blades are oriented the same exact way. Hell yeah! This is now an upgrade for the cooling! Installed. Tested. Approved! Love a good free upgrade that is now gonna pay for itself from buying it years ago.
  21. Yeahhhh....it was time to change them. Took my wife to say that the squealing of the belts for me to change them out. I am glad I did too cause the WP, AC and crank belt is missing teeth! Yikes. PS, WP and crank looks fine and the small one is cracking. Typical with age. I wish I knew how old these belts are. I am guessing maybe 20 years cause I know I didnt change them when I first got Chunk. Interesting enough, he sounds like he runs better and sounds better with the new belts. I will have to observe that.
  22. Like Carter said the AX4 and 5 are basically the same. Just the 4 doesn’t have the 5th gear. So you’ll want an AX5 bell. That being said you shouldn’t have to swap bell houses but I do not know a damn thing about the HO 91-01 bell houses. I only know about the 84-86 set up.
  23. D30 for the front. D44 front wasn’t a factory option.
