  1. Go GM with the column parts.
  2. Actually on the 360 but yes I have both copies on the PS2 as well.
  3. Oh yeah, we have been listening on and off. So far my favorite is still Try To Understand by The Seeds from what we have listened to but there been a few gems we have found. These are the 45's we have liked so far Little Bitty Pretty One/Next To Me, By Clyde McPhatter Bella Dalena/Out Of Limits, By The Marketts You Make Me Happy/My Souvenirs, By Val Martinez Material Things/Back In Love Again, By L.T.D. Yellow Balloon/Noollab Wolley, By The Yellow Balloon. This one is unique as it is the same song on both sides but obviously one is completely played backwards which is really cool. Classical Gas/Long Time Blues, By Mason Williams Band Alfie/Window Wishing, By Dionne Warwick Scratchy/Fire Fly, By Travis Wammack Dirty Water/Rari, By The Standells Sam Hill/Wolverton Mountain, By Claude King. Ill post some more in a bit. Buddy wants me to kick his butt at the original Star Wars Battlefront
  4. No the antenna wire is the same regardless of power antenna or not. Should be easily found in any XJ.
  5. Find an old outback to beat up.
  6. Yeah the printed circuits are known for that. I think the tachs have been weird probably due to cheap resistors on them. That’s my guess as I installed a NOS tach and it works just like the later years. I'm more or less also doing this for guys who want full blue face but can seem to only find the 6cyls around but can’t find the 4cyl tach. But I’d like to roll with eagles idea and add a pot to them for adjustability.
  7. I might make an attempt to do just that. The tach that was in Chunk now has a bad resistor I’m going to replace. I think the one resistor that went bad is what controls the pulses as the tach just pegs out wayyy past 7k. So I might give that a shot.
  8. Anyone have any knowledge on them? I am starting to toy with them and so far they are resistors and two chips. I’m gonna try to see if there’s a difference in the resistors to make future conversions possible for 6 to 4 cyl engines.
  9. Now that’s an idea Pete!
  10. Probably would bring in a decent buck. I also never paid attention to the oil pressure gauge until last night when I saw it said 60 in the middle and 120 for the high. I’m wondering what kind of Frankenstein cluster this is. I mean I’ll hang on to it unless someone needs it.
  11. So Chunk was hiding away this gem on the cluster he came with when I got him No he was never a diesel engine. But this makes me think the PO found a cluster with this info center panel or bought a new one.
  12. Didnt fit with the brand and Chrysler was short sighted at the time and didnt expect Subraru to come and take the market.
  13. Reasons why the Eagle is superior. I wish Chrysler wasn’t so dumb and just straight up dropped AMC. Like Chrysler could’ve done the Eagle to compete with the outback and what not but nope! And those are great
  14. I might claim the 4cyl parts.
  15. Got the new cluster restored and tested and every gauge works as it should. Also installed a NOS tach. I’m gonna rebuild the old one and see if I can get 2 for 2 on rebuilds. Now I'm fighting with the speedo. 84-86 speedos are wayyyy different than the later ones I have taken the needle and face off to try to match the miles of the old speedo. We shall see if it works out.
  16. Lol. My neighbors are a couple of old folk who come and go really fast so I rarely see them leave or come home. So they probably won’t mind the annex.
  17. Lol work space is over here
  18. Took a fun pic after organizing the garage last night.
  19. Well here's an idea. If you can get up in there, see if you can find the same thread pitch bolt, flatten the hex end and weld it to the fender frame so that way it never moves again.
  20. I don’t see any thing in the catalog. May not be serviceable.
  21. Moved to the pub for ya where more eyes will see. As for 92 MJs, only 952 were made so yeah you’re not gonna find many for sale.
  22. Something electrical sounds out of whack. Have any resistance on the ground circuit.
  23. Go rent a injector noid tester and plug it into the injector plug. See if you get a light or not. Should be dim(or bight, one of the two) and pulsing. If it does then the ECU is good. If nothing then it’s bad. But the injector and ECU are close in price these days so I’m willing to bet it’s the injector. Rarely they go bad but there is a 25 page epic on how we came to the conclusion that the injector was bad despite testing within ohm’d specs.
  24. Holy molly man! Ive shipped a set and I don't think it even cost that member that much to get them. Course you are in Guam so that might hike the price up. So thats where my NOS parts keep disappearing to. Lol.
  25. I am not seeing it as a serviceable component sadly. No new harnesses are out there either. So probably some RTV may not be a bad idea for getting the block to seal right. Or the block can be done away and just straight pipe. I sadly don't have an 86 and have only worked with 3 86 2.5Ls in my life. It must also be a sought after vac line as when I was in Prescott Valley last weekend I found a 4 door 86 that didnt have any lines but just the manifold. Damn I need to go back to that yard.
