Water Pump Recommendation?

Ohhhhh that thing. All it does is just hold the harness steady and in place. -
Water Pump Recommendation?
eaglescout526 replied to CrustyBoy's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The harnesses clip together. I bought these for my 2.5L a few years ago to replace my aging harness and they just clip together. -
Thanks…but he’s probably in less pain now. Anywhoooo I sat down with some time to see how and of an install the factory tweeters are. Really wasn’t. Maybe took me about 30-45 min. I took the old packcons apart and snipped off the old terminals. Crimped new ones with the new connector together per side and bam! Tweeters are installed and playing well. I can definitely hear a difference with them in place and I can notice the lack of load on the door speakers.

So I got the new to me lower dash bezel in today, it does not have any grills for the tweeters just like the original one, now I need to get some more paint and make it look nice and pretty. And i did get something I had my eye on for a while and jsut screw it an pulled the trigger on them. I got me a set of Marchal lamp covers to go over my Marchals. They arent in too bad of shape and I probably pissed off a lot of fox body owners when I bought these lol. 35 other watchers to be exact on this particular set. Anyways they fit perfectly and I of course restored them. Gave them a few good coats of paint and here we are as they sit: I gotta clean up my paint a little bit for the silver but they look damn good. Almost new aside from my silver paint. I am hoping to get further on this project soon, my biggest hold up is the floor at the moment. -
It is really nice to have cold AC once more. This time we are slightly over charged but its been fine and blowing damn cold and I mean I hop in with a sweaty back and I can be home in about 15 and half way through the drive my back won't be sweaty. Pretty nice actually. Now I just need to insulate the roof and cab better one day. Hopefully on one of my three day weekends. Any who I have a couple things. 1. Without molesting the factory speaker harness, I have found a way to add in the Jensen tweeters. Now why would I do that? Why the hell not, if I found a way without messing with the factory harness or connectors too much, I plan to do it. I do need to fix the speaker wires in the door though, Ill do that too when I get the connector to speaker adaptor. 2. So recently my grandfather passed away a week or so ago, leaving us with a bunch of stuff to go through and possibly a new project for the wife and I in the future but that I will spare any info on until its set and stone mine. Anyways he was a man who really didnt like you looking at his stuff. So I went over there today to help with trimming of some trees with my father and I was roaming some of the junk he has sprawled about his yard. I found a Reel-to-Reel in a woodgrain case laying on the ground and then I spotted something that looked awfully familiar.... My original license plate lamp harness with lenses!! I couldnt believe it! They were just sitting on a bucket in a pile of scrap. This makes me wonder about the history of my MJ, sadly my grandfather didnt remember much after his multiple strokes and quad bypass as thats when he became more crotchety and forgetful. He claimed he had a full cluster which I never saw from him and told me of how he would drop the tailgate and load in his little fishing boat and take it to the lake. Anyways this makes me wonder if my MJ did indeed have a factory accessory bumper from the factory. Granted yes a dealer couldve put on those aftermarket ones and put the harness in but I can't make any assumptions with the lack of info. Anyways I wanted to share my excitement in finding something that belonged to my MJ where I got her from.

Chevy handles that work with MJ tailgate?

Found the old post -
No power mirrors, gotta have the remote control ones, chrome trim on the dash bezel, vents and B-pillar lights. Thats all for the cab.
-
Window trim, some supposed factory rear glass had chrome trim but only seen in the 86 brochures, rear bumper, but otherwise you have nailed it. Oh tow hooks, those were all chrome and for giggles you could chrome out an OEM brush guard and OEM roll bar(not factory options)

Whats weird about seeing all these WA MJ's is that my wife is from WA and so I know just about all these towns and places, whats ghetto and whats not. Really was never impressed with WA other than the nature all around aspect and now I am impressed with all the vintage Jeeps that are hanging around there. I do know where a beautiful Laredo is in Everett

Ah. Yeah ain’t much out there sadly. At least you aren’t in AJ.

That far from the engine rebuilders at 67th and belmont? Course I have heard they are backed up with engines to rebuild.
-
You know, I genuinely don't know. I know I would use it to by some spare parts or parts I needed but havent thought about any accessories.
-
Back up sensors? Future tune-up parts? Fuses and bulbs?

thoughts about early XJ for 4wd conversion?
eaglescout526 replied to MarteenJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Ooo I know I spoke with saveevryjp about such parts but when you get to that point I will be interested in having spare parts for the 4wd.
