From what I found out by my roommate that I have a pentair set up. I somehow screwed up the threads on the shaft of the motor and now can’t get the impeller to sit straight, so I just need a whole new motor shaft without dropping some money to get a new motor.

Well a lot of things are discontinued. A lot of things that were only for the XJ/MJ platform, are all but gone with a few select things thanks to the TJ.

This is not policy with FCA. It might be with the dealer but not FCA. I helped locate what he provided me with part numbers and what they told him is correct and they are discontinued except the auto trans mount.

Its not just MJ's its any car they can snatch real quick and take for either parts or vehicle they can resale. Most of the time it is for parts. Has nothin to do with who or what it is really.

You’re saying tachometer. Do you mean speedometer? The speedometer is cable driven and the tach is sent pulse signals from the coil for the revolutions from the engine. But if you’re looking at a black cluster, you just need to make sure it’s not an HO electric speedometer cluster. If it’s an early blue cluster, you’ll need to make sure the speedo doesn’t have a metal retainer to hold the speedo cable in place.
