  1. Just depends on the shape of the lamps. Which brings me to this PSA: Check all big three cars of the same era for Marchals.
  2. Rusted Out Lights. That’s what we call them lol.
  3. Only three lights were used(without diving into the world of dealer approved accessories)Marchals, ROLs and Blazers. Marchals 84-87. ROL 87-90. Blazer 91-96. Those covers fit ROLs(and Sears ones to my excitement)only.
  4. @jdogI swear found a ford one that fits perfectly for the sliders. That’s a rare piece.
  5. You should be able to drill the rivets out that hold them in place.
  6. Have you removed the pump from the tank to verify it works?
  7. I would abso-fricken-lutely run your VIN. I ran @89 MJ just for giggles to see if it would show up in Chrysler and sadly it doesn’t. Sucks too. But hey. Looks like hell of a project!
  8. Could also be for a sport bar that existed for the truck. Also is that thing about to snap where the bed meets the cab?
  9. There is but the only difference I have noticed is the solenoid connector. The older connector uses some round 4 pin connector while the Renix years use the metri pack connector.
  10. That plug from my understanding is for the 4wd system. Basically where your dump valve is would be another type of dump valve that would have electrical prongs sticking out for the plug. I’ll have to find one and snap a pic of what I’m talking about. Your “switch” is just a valve for the manual transmission set up. The autos have the valve I described above. Regardless of the trans set up you have, you are good to go.
  11. I have an 86 wiring book for the MJ that I keep meaning to get scanned.
  12. There’s no relays behind the drivers side kick panel or nothin? I know there’s a few relays there on my 88.
  13. And I’m not home so I can not provide assistance at this time.
  14. Ooo that’s like really diving into the motor right there without going into complete tear down….
  15. Yes of course. Safety first.
  16. Those front rims need to be snagged. Thanks Jason for knocking these out while my tech has been down.
  17. I wonder if you were to measure resistance from both ground and power back to the battery, you can start there to start bringing down the resistance and send more power back to the wiper.
  18. Have you done the ground improvements? I don't know how I improved mine but mine are pretty good. Not fast by todays standards.
  19. Another base waggy. There’s something so 80’s about the early ones.
  20. My PC is still down. Had a new donor board for the hard drive come in and the drive didn’t want to stay powered up. Waiting on some more boards. I’ll probably get on my wife’s computer so I don’t have to set up a new hard drive on my tower and get the VINs taken care of. Sorry for the inconvenience new members.
  21. What’s neat is if you were to remove the lower dash, there’s a little prong that sticks up that lines up with the fork on the mounting bracket.
  22. Actually. If anyone could rescue the mounting brackets for the side steps, that would be awesome.
