The harness is probably the most important part to using that header. Otherwise it’s just a decoration piece. You can make a harness as all the plugs for the lamps are available, i don't know about the sockets for the turn signals and the side marker sockets are the same as what’s on the standard harness.

For a democratic state, there sure as hell is a lot of XJs and MJs floating around up there. My wife used to live up the before coming down here and I’ve seen a couple MJs and plenty of XJs and an Eagle.

He also has another Street MJ. Both of them are awesome.

But is it outputting the right voltage? Voltage should be more than .2VAC. If it’s not within the acceptable range of .3-.5 with .2 being the absolute bare minimum to get one by, it probably isn’t good. Have you cleaned the inside of the cap and cleaned the rotor too? now you say the coil works, are you getting spark from coil to the cap and it’s not just distributing from there or is the coil just passing a “test”?

Hang on there. If you’re not getting spark have you tested the CPS or crank shaft position sensor that sits on top of the drivers side bell house? If it’s dirty or not outputting the proper AC voltage anymore it won’t tell to ECU that it is ok to start the ICU and send spark down the line to fire the plugs. But yes the 2.5L distributor does not need a lot to it to work.

I am finally happy to say that the floor is done! They aren’t the best welds in the world but they are pretty sturdy to satisfy me. The only issue I still have is the rear of this floor panel is the seam sealer and lack of metal to actually batten the floor down is an issue but not much of one to have me greatly concerned. Now I need to get some primer to paint the floor and seabring red paint to make the floor new again. Now I can begin electrical work for the seats, doors, mirrors and getting the harness prepped and ready for the TBI conversion.

If you drill out the rivets holding the brackets together, it’ll all come apart pretty easy and you’ll see how it’s built. I took a trashed one and adapted the brackets to an S10 winch for mine.

That can be a pain. It could be a faulty regulator to just simply a vacuum issue not engaging cruise control.

You’re right, i don't know how I didn’t notice it before. For some reason I was thinking it wasn’t there on mine. But that’s weird that yours doesn’t have the 90* elbow.

Actually if you look back at when the kit was first started by Dana, they had metal cased speed sensors where the threaded sides were different. Now as time went on and the kit was made on the side by Dana until someone bought it, they went to the plastic sensor which I’m sure accommodates for two different speedos, hence the adaptor. I don't know which make had the cable be the same on either side of the sensor but I’m willing to bet it was one of the big 3.
