  1. I did these about 5-6 years ago. If I remember, they are bolt in.
  2. Save some money, buy a donor Cherokee with a 4.0L and get that thing back on the road! Glad you're ok! Just found your youtube channel too!
  3. For the videos, do you have a youtube channel? I'll subscribe.
  4. Try the Wrangler YJ's, I know they probably aren't at the JY, but eBay might help.
  5. Maybe a yj wrangler. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. Have a parts list for the radio and adapters?
  7. Ok, sorry to bother you! I love your work.
  8. It's not fun at first. You will find things to keep you busy. I love working with my hands, but being at a desk it doesn't happen as often as it used to. I get more stuff done around the house though just to get my fix I do suggest getting a stand up desk!
  9. I guess he isn't online, or making these anymore?
  10. I know it's hard getting new stuff, and stuff generally done with a new baby, but any chance you looked into the Dakota seats? Or could do a drawing in CAD and send it to me? I can't find the other thread right now. Just wondering, your stuff is top notch!
  11. These pictures are X's for me...
  12. Looks like with that picture, the utility bed came off of a truck that has a passenger fuel fill up.. Not sure that's what the hole is, but I'd look for something like that.
  13. I'd just pressure wash it and let it dry for awhile.
  14. Same here. I had a TJ that did that. Didn't bother me much to just go in reverse and then it's fine.
  15. I'm sure it was mentioned, but did you try the helicoil tool? I know they are frowned upon, but better than a vehicle not moving at all. I'll admit I used this on my 95 s10 4 cyl that I got from a neighbor for free and it's still running. Threads were messed up on all the spark plug holes. https://www.amazon.com/Helicoil-5528-6-8-24-Thread-Repair/dp/B000CMFUOC/ref=asc_df_B000CMFUOC/?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid={creative}&hvpos={adposition}&hvnetw=o&hvrand={random}&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl={devicemodel}&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583863979919162&psc=1
  16. Agree.
  17. We don't travel much, but my favorite, that we went to, was Estes Park, Colorado. It was beautiful.
  18. Good find. I'll be waiting for the build threads :)

    Tool Talk

Have any pictures of YOUR tool bag? Could you do a "tool bag tour" on youtube? I just love watching those, don't know why, probably because I need to get organized..
  20. Looks awesome Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  21. Look on craigslist or facebook marketplace for a used 4.0L engine. Usually around here is $300-$400. Have proof it ran and such, (good) then when your engine that's in the truck now is out, rebuild it and do it right.
  22. I would use this roof top tent. They make one that's a little taller to match the roof on different trucks (like the tacoma) to give more space in the bed. Definately an overland/camping thing. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  23. I do believe this is for a Tacoma, they just show it fitting on an MJ (with different mounts I'm sure). I really like it, but I don't want to pay that much for it... I mean I probably would if I don't fab something up myself, but... https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/VMSBR.html
  24. Yes, except for the seat brackets and some rear pillars are the same. Make sure you order for a comanche. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  25. I bought a new fuel tank and sending unit as my old tank had a hole in it and pump didn't work. I bought the tank and sending unit off RockAuto. The hose connectors on the sending unit had O-rings already on them, but attached on the connectors was a bag of O-rings (2). Am I supposed to put those O-rings INSIDE the fuel hoses (pressure and return)? Or are those just extra O-rings. 1992 c1500 5.7l 2wd Thanks
