  1. I have the correct tCU in my parts shed.
  2. wrong TCU for your application if the color differs.
  3. I have NEVER had to burp a Renix system.
  4. Must be 87 to 90. Notice the color of the plastic plug on the 2 TCUs. I bet they're different color.
  5. Go to www.cruiser54.com and complete Tip 10 first. Have you ever refreshed the ground at the dipstick tube stud per Tip 1 on my website? Here's an excerpt. All the components listed below ground at the dipstick tube stud: Distributor Sync Sensor, TCU main ground, TCU “Shift Point Logic”, Ignition Control Module, Fuel Injectors, ECU main ground (which other engine sensors ground through, including the Oxygen sensor, Knock Sensor, Cruise Control and Transmission Sync signal. All extremely important stuff. It's likely that your TCU failed or the fuse socket is bad under the dash. You had voltage at both sides of the fuse when you checked it? Sometimes the socket itself is corroded. I'm going to once again encourage folks to start snagging TCUs at the junkyard. 87 to 90 interchange. 88 and later shift nicer due to different programming bur most people won't even notice the difference in reality.
  6. Use a Mopar stat 83501426AD
  7. It's never as bad as predicted. Mostly fear porn to keep the masses obsessed with the weather. Besides, with your head under the hood, you'll be fine.
  8. www.cruiser54.com Complete Tips 1 through 5 before doing anything else. And in your case, complete Tip 13 If the spark plugs weren't replaced before this time, I'm gonna bet the cap, rotor and plug wires have not either. You can do all this stuff by yourself without paying a mechanic to do it. A few hours work at the most.
  9. Makes me wonder if there aren't 2 different axle ratios.
  10. https://www.finditparts.com/products/8327718/world-american-wak3220
  11. These come to mind. Unimog, Humvee, VW bus. Head to the junkyard.
  12. Jason at onewaylight said they were gonna go on Amazon or something like that.
  13. I have ALL LEDs from OneWayLight. quality stuff.
  14. ^^ Yeah. Getting the bolts out is the easy part as they're usually broken off or missing.
  15. I have found that putting about a 3/8" spacer under the front seat mounts accomplishes a couple things. Kinda moves you back and gives support under the thighs while lifting your feet up and away from the floorboards.
  16. Get some fluid to the front brakes and it will stop better.
  17. I can do the CAD delete in 20 minutes.
  18. I live where it snows right in the mountains at a mile high elevation. They will work just fine.
  19. Ever replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor? Ever tightened the intake manifold bolts? Closely inspected the vacuum line from the throttle body to MAP sensor on the firewall? Been to www.cruiser54.com and completed tips 1 through 5?
  20. 4 cylinder? 6 cylinder? You're gonna need to do some things to eliminate possibilities. You will not somehow find a "silver bullet" cure based on the info provided.
  21. Even better if you adjust them til they stop turning and then back off til they slightly drag.
  22. It's the metal fitting on the intake manifold. Pull the hose off and poke a wire into the fitting to get the carbon out.
