  1. If you installed a bulb in the IC and if you can find that connector under the hood (C168), turn KEY ON and jumper the under-hood connector. Low Washer lamp should light. If not, something is missing.
  2. Yank your spark plugs and see what story they have to tell.
  3. If this electrical connector is a single pin, it would be dual horns, if equipped.
  4. What is the best way to dry off your brushes after using them? Bristles up, bristles down or does it even matter? I know you shake off as much liquid as you can, but I’m talking about letting them set overnight. I’ve heard down will hold liquid in the bristles. Is there any science behind this?
  5. Water (H2O) is a byproduct of hydrocarbon combustion (gasoline engines), but don’t drink it. Do you have a low spot somewhere along your exhaust pipe for water to puddle in after KEY OFF? If you don’t smell coolant, I’d say your good.
  6. Disconnect the 'recently added tach', then try again.
  7. Vehicle harness would/should have had this connector. They used a 3_pin connector with 1 empty cavity.
  8. Taken from the 88FSM (1988 Jeep Cherokee). A lot of high tech talk. Not sure if this will help with RENIX. 88 FSM - WAVEFORMS - INJECTOR PATTERN TUTORIAL.pdf Injector spray patterns should also be considered in your chosen choice.
  9. Yea, vacuum motor/air blend door same thing.
  10. I wonder if it’s for a breathalyzer hookup. Anyone here have any experience or knowledge with this type of thing?
  11. Headlamps Delay Module, if equipped. Photo: @CheepComanche
  12. Make a complete fool of myself. But just in case it’s not me, I too, have always liked @MiNi Beast.
  13. Proof that firing the 'parts cannon' will sometimes solve your vehicle problems. Suggestion: Buy a Powerball ticket.
  14. Starting to sound more mechanical now. Anyone else here, chime in.
  15. If your holding fuel pump rail pressure (40psi) with the KEY OFF a leaky injector would show that pressure bleeding down. Maybe check this again. No mention of new secondary wires for the ignition.
  16. Check Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) hose to manifold for fuel. I know you said it new. Check hose to MAP sensor from manifold. Might need to double check this. Symptoms sounds like misfire in the distributor cap.
  17. 98% of the time, fuel pump current flows through the ballast resistor causing a voltage drop across the resistor. This lower voltage is applied to the fuel pump motor for the purpose of quieting down the motor noise. People complained about fuel pump noise.
  18. Bypass the fuel pump ballast resistor just to make sure it's not part of this problem.
  19. Might as well grab that sun visor for the windshield. It's a pair.
  20. I'll throw some resistance in here. It's just too big.
  21. Check your floorboard under the HVAC unit for dampness under the carpeting.
