That would be very interesting. Almost making it a suburban type truck. Some people have done it. Look around on jeepforum, there are some builds. Some are done better than others.

Well I wasnt born yet when they first came out but always liked the XJs I would see around town when I was a kid. Thats completely normal for MJs. Its rather addicting . :MJ 1: .

don't really care here. Not a big fan of either team. Id like to root for the eastern team being a VA guy but they knocked out my team so I'm a little upset at them. I still have a couple days to make my pick, cuz you gotta have a team to root for during the game itself.

Prices certainly do vary around the world. If its rust free, Id say its a good buy, especially way up north where rust is prevalent.

I have very similar sounding holes along my bed. I probably will weld some plugs in it eventually, maybe even just take some thicker sheet metal and put right on top almost like a bed rail. Then I would paint it since thats in my long term goals anyways. I guess it's up to how much work you want to do yourself. I sure am interested on how it works out if you would post some pics.

I like that. I also love the rarity. They didnt make them for long, but with the Cherokee being so successful for so long, there are lots and lots of parts for most of the truck. I always wanted a truck and I always wanted a Jeep, since all my friends had one, and now I have both in one vehicle and couldnt be happier. If I had some more time to work on it, I would be driving away from my wedding in it. The woman is actually part comanche indian which is very cool to have one of each. . :MJ 1: .

that is a little disappointing. The cast and previews make it look decent at least. Oh well, guess I will wait for it to come on dvd and find someone else who bought it to lend it to me just so I can see for myself.

Well I can finally put the MJ back on top of the todo list. I sold the Cherokee yesterday and that was taking all of my manche's time. Now it's time to get the truck inspected so I can drive it around town. The list has a few things on it but not too terrible. The exhaust manifold has a leak which is the worst thing on the list. Needs wiper blades, rear plate moved and lit up, rear brakes need adjusting but not replaced, reverse lights, sway bar links fixed (I'm removing completely). It's been a long year for the MJ waiting for my attention and I hope she doesn't remain angry at me.

Those seats do sure look comfy. Glad you made it back safely.
