No city can be that bad. I live in a college town(UVA) yet graduated from Virginia Tech and this is still a nice place to live

This sure is some good timing. My laptop is almost 6 years old and is sure starting to show signs of going through the college days. Been through multiple batteries and keyboards on it. I saw the Chromebook and wondered how the OS worked. I was planning on going to Best Buy or somewhere that sold them to check them out, and certainly will now that you give a good review of your short time with it. Keep us posted on similarites and differences when converting from Windows to Chrome OS if you don't mind.

Finally got around to putting the new header on and boy did I run into some issues. Turns out, one of the studs that comes out of the head that holds on the manifold broke off when I was removing it last week and just found out today. So, not really sure what to do there. I removed the head and plan on taking it to a machine shop to get the head cleaned and resurfaced and hopefully get that out and taken care of. Unless yall have other ideas. Was hoping to have my new exhaust manifold in and driving her around today but all I got to do was tear her down more than she already was. here's where the day started, just had to cut off the bottom two bolts on the manifold to get it out. I think there was a leak somewhere near the back of the block: Now the head is off and I'm at a stall in the project again

Yes. Rust drops the price very quickly so if theres no rust and its still cheap, buy it. Edit: As long as there are no other major mechanical problems or such. Pics would be nice though.

Thanks for the input. I bought a oem replacemnt and its on the way. Should be in by next weekend for install.

So my exhaust manifold has a crack in it, one of the reasons I failed inspection. I have a couple of options and would like yalls opinion on them. The first is to clean off what I got, weld the crack together, and throw her back in there and see how long itll last before another crack appears. The second would be to buy an oem replacement header that should last a very long time. And the third option is to buy a aftermarket header thatll boost performance a little. The last option is my favorite, but obviously is the most expensive. :hmm: I'm stumped. Oh and I have the HO 4.0 in my 92.
