  1. You need to use a picture hosting site to make pictures work here. I use photobucket. With the transmission being swapped in the ratio in the axles are toss up. Most likely 3.07 or 3.55. If you're going to run the Rubicon wheels off a JK you'll need wheel adapters. As far as performance upgrades imo I don't have a desire to spend money in that area. Others have and they could chime in on that.
  2. I agree, spend the extra money now and avoid the future headaches.
  3. Ran 32's on my 92 w/ 3.55's. It wasn't the best, but it worked. It never saw highway use though.
  4. Brushing the dust off a bit. Haven't touched it in weeks, but havebeen spending most of the time buying our 2nd house. Best part about it is the huge garage the MJ will be moving into, so hoping once we're moved in next week the progress will speed up on this thing.
  5. This^ I put a 97+ windshield in my 92 with no issues.
  6. Looks great, I'd buy one but already have a factory unit I don't use.
  7. No sir. At least not a direct swap. Anything's possible with time/money
  8. Everything aside from the cluster should swap. B pillar trim is MJ specific as well as headliner. Would need to make a whole in the door panel for the window crank.
  9. Not trying to be too picky here. Getting ready to move out of town, and will start having a small commute again. I've been looking for a small truck to takeover DD duties. Prefer 2.5, ax4 or 5, and 4wd. Some rust doesn't bother me as it will be driven in the winter. Anything with a 2.5 is a possibility. Willing to travel if needed.
  10. There's a guy who runs around town on something similar to this. I think it's pretty slick.
  11. ^ Yeah that. My 92 had a welded rear. I wouldn't recommend it for a DD, but it is definitely cheaper then a locker.
  12. The krustyballer hitch, even if it's just in regards to availability. The likelihood of finding a factory hitch is every slim. From what I've read though, he's based everything off factory hitch dimensions so sounds like it will be a good item to grab.
  13. Still my favorite mirrors for a Comanche. Trying to hunt down a set for mine , already have the holes in the doors.
  14. 87 MJ 88 MJ 89 MJ 91 MJ- Current 92 MJ 93 XJ O0 XJx2
  15. I'm confused, you clearly say your bad transmission in this post.
  16. The super rare 93 Comanche... Still looks like a good deal if it's as clean asthe pictures show.
  17. I agree with this. Blue plug looks a lot like a winch plug.
  18. I'm in the same boat as you. From what I read, the PS zj cable is long enough. I haven't hooked them up yet, but they seem plenty long enough. I can snap a picture tomorrow if you'd like.
  19. At least there's a few options there. Headed to the pick n pull Friday so hoping to find a few zj's to grab these from.
  20. Bumping this back up. Got everything in, but i guess I'm missing a piece. The e-brake actuator? that hooks the cable to the shoes. Didn't come in the parts kit, and dcant seem to find it for sale anywhere. Any body who's done this have any advice? ZJ brakes onto an 8.25
  21. Girlfriend let me know a big box from rock auto showed up today. Hoping when I get off work in the morning I can get the rear brakes on and get it back on all fours. Pics to follow.
  22. They're extremely nice $hock$. I don't know if I'd pay the price to run them on my Comanche though. Fwiw, there are other options that are much better then your RC shocks, but aren't as pricy. I've run Bilstein 5100's before and they were well worth it.
  23. Are you talking about from the first pic? If so yes I got them. Not sure if those are the stock ones or not. That's the ones, if they're still in decent shape, I'd be interested in taking them of your hands.
