  1. Being an 89, it could either be a Peugeot ba 10/5, or an ax15. Being a 4.0 5 speed, factory gearing would be 3.07. If it still has these, then with 35's your truck will be a dog. A gear swap should definitely be in your future.
  2. Auto or manual? Also what year?
  3. What are the specs of your truck? Engine/trans?
  4. I'd definitely be interested. Don't have spare tails, but do have some extra MJ stuff laying around.
  5. And it has a Dana 35 front axle....
  6. TTT
  7. This one has a lot more then just jeep axles, but this covers it.
  8. Sorry, forgot I had a picture. I'm looking for these ones, the same I had on my 87
  9. I agree on the lift. I also like the MJ for it's small size, seeing as most of the driveways are smaller, tight development driveways.
  10. I can't even imagine how they managed to mangle that bed corner
  11. The 250 is definitely stronger, but for my needs a "mid sized" truck would be fine. My 70' driveway and a few 30' driveways through the 5 or 6 plowable storms we get a year here doesn't warrant the need of a full size truck. However, since I am not keeping my MJ at stock height, the Ford will most likely get the green light.
  12. I have no doubt if I left it at stock height it would meet all my needs. I'll have to see what it looks like when I get the lift done. Worst scenario would be throwing a plow on my F-250. It would be overkill for what I need, but may be the best option.
  13. All breeds jeep show is July 18 and 19. I'm off for 5 days over that weekend so I plan on going to both the show and swinging over to Rausch. Truck will be more then ready by then.
  14. I know not too many people plow with there MJs, but figured I'd ask. Has anyone ever ran a snow plow on a lifted truck? By next winter I'd like to have a plow on the MJ, but I'll also be running approx. 5 inches of lift. Just wondering if anything special has to be done/modified to the plow frame to work with the lift. Will only be used on a few driveways, no commercial plowing.
  15. I've always run basic champion coppers. Nothing fancy, and they always work great. Pretty popular with the 4.0
  16. Looking to trade/buy a set of factory towing mirrors. The ones with the bracket that mount on the door. I have a set of really good shape factory chrome mirrors for trade if interested. Would need shipped to 22602. Lemme know what ya got.
  17. Rough country is hit or miss depending g on who you talk to. My dealings with them, I've never been impressed with their quality, however customer service was good. A soa swap can yield anywhere from 5" up to 6.5"+ of lift depending on condition of your springs/ spring perch height. For a DD I personally wouldn't go that high unless you want a large lift. If you wanted to go that high, I'd run control arm drop brackets since it will be used more on road then off. There are a lot of opinions on lifts, so I'm sure others will chime in.

  19. If you can still read it, the easiest place is on the driver door sticker
  20. Do you happen to know the build date? 92 was the last year for the Comanche, so there is not many of those. The fact it's an eliminator makes it even less common.

  22. Scroll down the main forum page. There's a classified section, put it in there...
  23. Do you have a Dana 35? If so, I hope you didn't spend $1500 dollars rebuilding it.
  24. If you end up pulling them off, I'd be interested in buying them.
