Can Spell Comanche

Can Spell Comanche (2/11)

  1. Awesome. Thank you. While I'm at it, if I decide to buy this Cherokee, would the AX-15 swap over fairly easy?
  2. I'd want to convert to automatic windows and door locks and auto mirrors. With the right components those should swap over too? What about the air bagged steering wheel? I like the look of my steering wheel better but it's maroon.
  3. Would this interior swap over into my 1988 Comanche Pioneer 4.0L manual? How much of it is specific to the 4.0 HO? I have manual doors locks and mirrors in my Jeep. I was wanting to switch to tan or grey interior and power options. http://cosprings.craigslist.org/cto/5105655493.html 1995 Jeep Cherokee Country This is my current interior:

1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer Olympic Edition 4.0L, BA10/5, NP231, Dana 30 w/ 3.07, Dana 44 w/3.07, SWB Build Date: June 1988 Current Location: Colorado Springs, CO Status: Daily Driver with future plans. Notes: White exterior, Maroon interior, Bench seat, Factory skid plates, No A/C, Original Colorado Springs vehicle. Current owner: Me.
  6. FN Jeep His prices aren't that cheap but he has a lot of parts... A LOT. Mostly Cherokees.
  7. Yeah that's what I was thinking. Would it be easier to brush on the paint or spray it? I don't want factory fresh at this point, i'll worry about that when I do the 97+ front clip. Looking at those pictures too the door dents stand out like a sore thumb. I gotta figure out what to do with those.
  8. So I just read the whole build. My mouth dropped when you said it was sold. Glad to hear you were only kidding. But have you started working on it again? Updates?
  9. I haven't even began to research the parts I need yet for the A/C. How much is involved in that upgrade?
  10. Ha ha I'm interested in it for other reasons. I want to figure out how to replace it with an A/C compressor and all the goodies. Believe me I've thought about selling it but I have wanted an MJ for so long that it would be stupid to do so cause I couldn't buy one in this condition for any cheaper. I've flipped plenty of Jeeps and you can make good money doing it but I have different plans for this guy. I'll check out NAXJA too. I've heard about it but haven't spent a lot of time on the site. Deckers is beautiful. Well I should say the Deckers area is beautiful seeing as how it's basically just a corner store.
  11. Thanks guys! I'll post pictures as much as I can. I know that I like looking at photos in build threads so I hope to extend that courtesy to everyone who may be interested in what I'm doing.
