    I looked for 2 years without luck. I found a pretty clean bench at a jy, but it's wearing out on me at this point, so I'm installing some fairly new buckets at this point.

    Awesome rig! Landcruisers can get through pretty much anything and take quite the beating, but that mileage has always kept me away.

    Depending on your planned use and tire size, a LP D30 can live a long and happy life. If you're staying below 3" of lift and sticking to 31's, I see no issue with a LP D30. Anything bigger in the tire department and I'd consider the HP D30.

    Agreed, Gog. I'm using Sylvania Xtravision H4's in mine and don't see the need for a hotter bulb (even though I can totally run them). As it is, folks keep asking me if I threw in a HID conversion.

    Check the compression. If you have fuel, spark, and air, that's the only thing missing from the equation.

    They're neat little engines. 120HP doesn't sound like much, but they're a blast to drive!

    How much lift did you get in the rear with the Superlift add a leafs?

    NOPE. This thibg earns a solid pass from me. I dig the Renegade, but I don't think this thing should be called a Comanche. The MJ, althought it was a small, unibody truck, could still get some work done in austere conditions (metric tonne package, anyone?). This thing looks like it'll MAYBE haul a couple of hardly used mountain bikes and a Starbucks latte.

    You have a 9k redline?!?!?! Mine has a 7500rpm redline, but spinning it that far certainly is fun!

    My 2.5 was doing that til I installed new gaskets in my TBI unit, replaced my intake/exhaust manifold gasket, and plugged my egr. I basically took care of a bunch of leaks in my engine and it went away.

    Just take the valve cover off, get new ccv hardware, clean up the insides of the cover, and you should be good to go.

    I love the 4AGE engines. Does your T-S have the TVIS system on it? Oh, and don't toss your old alternator. Get it rebuilt. I made the mistake of getting a reman unit from thr local auto parts store for my MR2 and I've had to swap it multiple times.
