  1. You can also pick up somr efficiency by going to lighter wheels if you're using steelies now.
  2. I'm very interested. Where are you located?
  3. Is the pulley set up for a V belt, or a serpentine?
  4. There's a couple of different types of Monroes out there, too. The blue ones are just cheap, the yellow HD ones are a bit harsh, but the OE Spectrums are alright. Another not-too-expensive option is the Rancho RS5000. A bit soft, but comfortable. Oh, and I HATE Bilsteins.
  5. I think the pump *may* be the same, but my main issue is with the pulley. The TBI 2.5 serpentine belt pulley is unique to that engine.
  6. Looking for a power steering pump and pulley for a 87 2.5L. Thanks in advance!
  7. Looking for a pair of add-a-leaf springs. I was going to buy some from Hell Creek, but they've been discontinued. Thanks in advance!
  8. I've put in a bit over 35,000 miles of city, highway, and off road driving in the almost 2 years since I got my MJ. I got mine with 190,000 miles on the clock, and aside from maintenance and Cruiser's Renix tips (and a new exhaust system) I haven't had to do anything to the engine. It's dead-nuts reliable and gets me over Southern NM and West Texas mountain passes pretty well, even when pushing around 31's with a 3.55 geared rear end and an AX4. It's not the fastest truck, but it's gotten me everywhere I needed to be and has done it getting at least 25mpg on the highway.
  9. I did mine last month. I jacked up the front of the truck and let the axle hang. Easy-peasy. I used stock uppers and fixed Rancho lowers.
  10. Hey everyone! Check this vid out. I found it while looking around the net for test results. Pretty concise test of Seafoam.
  11. Thanks man. :) I appreciate the kind words. I actually left the rear end alone for now. I still have the stock 2wd SporTruck leaves with bigger shocks. I like it well enough and it clears the 31's just fine even with the high offset I'm running. I may go to metric tonne leaves just for more control while towing.
  12. I dug em on my ZJ, but I was driving FAST on 32's. On a light MJ, I bet they'd be jarring.
  13. Will do, sir! Thanks for the tip. :)
  14. Do you have pics of your bracket?
  15. Don't insult papier maché canoes, man! Those can actually work if made right. ;)
  16. Nice. Cool thing about stuffing a SR into a MJ is that you'll have LOTS of space for a nice front mount. ;) Are you going with a stand alone ECM, or are you grafting the Nissan unit in?
  17. I approve of this. Will you be using a S14 tranny, or will you be using a Z32 unit?
  18. The injector is right in the middle of the TB. As for the goofy pinwheel, tell him to scrap it. I can assure you that it's not helping.
  19. Hello all. I recently removed my heater control valve on my 87 Comanche, and since doing so, my truck has a noticeable miss at cold idle and smells like it's running VERY rich. Once warmed up, the idle evens out. I pulled my plugs a few days ago and they are black and sooty. Any ideas on what to look for? I'm thinking that maybe my thermostat may be stuck open, or I may have a bad coolant temp sensor. thanks in advance!
  20. Unless you're going with a TPI 305, I'd say just go 350. Same external dimensions and same amount of work to get it in.
  21. I made my own harness using some 10ga wire and a pair of 30 amp relays. I was astonished at the difference in light output between the upgraded wiring and the stock one, even when running stock style halogens.
  22. Day-nada. :)
  23. Good idea! Thanks. :) There's a hydro place nearby.
  24. Hello all. Recently, my MJ has developed a leak where the fuel line meets the TBI unit. Has anyone replaced these? If so, did you have something made up, or is there a stock replacement? Thanks a bunch!
