  1. You need to do proper research before making statements like this.
  2. yeah, MJ4BT is a member on here, if you haven't seen his.............way cool  I have and it is awesome. It sounds amazing too. The only thing i'd change is to put an some automatic in there (we have rocks out here).
  3. I dream of putting a 4BT in my MJ

  5. I took 4 x 5" 3/16" square tubing aand drilled a million holes in it. THen I split it. Took a while to form it to the MJ but it came out pretty good and cost me $50 (and two days).
  6. x3000000 My Renix on 37s can't keep up with the HO on 42s :wavey:
  7. That doesn't appear to mount in any way I would feel comfortable using. :agree:
  8. brimy311, I think we are good
  9. In SoCal we have found may more XJ 44s than MJ 44 in the yards.
  10. This is like saying Mormon is better than Catholic, Republicans are better than Democrats and Dunkin Donuts over Krispy Cream. There is a point of personal preference. There are MANY GREAT shaft manufacturers on the market and at a certain point it becomes irrelevant because of other weak points in the Dana 30 axle.
  11. (subscribing) I pulled a JY fuse block out and holy crap was there MANY wires. I gave up and started moving items over to a new fuseblock as they failed. (I think someone asked me for a pic of that last time I posted this  )
  12. Nitro 4340, 10 Factory or Superior are great options. I don't beleive you could go wrong with any of them. Warn shafts did well but I do not know how they are since they were sold to Randy's Ring&Pinion. I have had great success with the Nitro 4340 & Superior shafts. The Superior shafts handled multiple broken stubbs on my Dana 44 on 37s while my D60 Alloy USA shafts put up to abuse on 42s.
  13. Nitro 4340 shafts are supposed to be supplied from the same supplier AlloyUSA used for their quality shafts. I beleive you are right.

  15. EXACTLY how I got mine to work. I had to clean all the dirt and grime out first.
  16. That system is pretty rough to work with as I struggled with it the first time I endountered it. I unthreaded the whole piece and figured it out on the work bench. I found it had to be ALL cleaned out inside in order to function properly. I am going to replace it with an AN fitting set up in the long run.
  17. I would go to Pirate then and look in the CHEROKEE forum. You'll see a TON of builds like that where people have to integrate into the unibody.
  18. Can you narrow down your specifics? You looking to use the stock tank? You buggied out with a fuel cell?
  19. no. Not true.
  20. Wow that is an old thread. I would take Go-Jeeps advise to leave it. He seems to know more about than the others that posted on that thread.
